I truly enjoy your long videos. You said you thought your coloring was off. I don't think it was. I think it seemed that way because you were using scrapbook paper and it has a bit of texture. Thanks Kayla.

I enjoyed watching you while I did online color by number. I think you're doing a great job of finding different art to do when you can't crochet. My mom loved to sew and knit in her younger days, but her rheumatoid arthritis became so severe that she had to give up those activities.

This is a really neat way to use some stencils. I would have never even thought of using stencils as cut outs . This was a very educational video for me plus the bonus of listening to you chat . 👍

Hi Kayla you did a wonderful job with your paper doll project. Perhaps it is the scissors. I’m left handed and sometimes it’s difficult to be precise with scissors for right handed crafters.

That trip to the library sounded wonderful. I would like to write a book about my mother. One day. Those characters you made today for some reason remind me of music appreciation class in 4th grade. I use to do hospital ministry by sitting with those passing. When I could no longer physically do that and while sitting on the couch feeling sorry for me I found your channel. That first video brought me to my knees. I can do something still. I picked up crocheting again. And year I made 96 soap bar bags to go in children’s boxes our church put together for a world ministry. I am now making my first amigurumi. Not enjoying it because I didn’t have a pattern but my granddaughter asked for it especially.

Enjoying your video. I am left handed and growing up did not often get to use left-handed scissors. I still can not cut a straight line even with a cutting wheel. What can I say -- we are all unique!❤

Hello Kayla, your lines are way better than mind would be. I’ve always said I can’t draw a straight line even with a ruler. That is no joke! You’re doing wonderfully. And if I couldn’t crochet for some reason, I guess I would try out my sewing machine, which I’m about to do tomorrow! Going to try making Barbie cloths. And make pillow covers for my sofa pillows. I'm late due to busy busy times. But if you see this, you might try a pair of kid's school scissors. Due to arthritis trying to stop my beloved activities with my hands, I have found some good cutting, light weight kid scissors. I use them for my yarn and even some fabric. Had to try several out to get some that will cut the fabric...but they are much easier for me to hold being smaller and lighter. I am not sure if arthritis problems would be like your fingers, but might try? Edit: got to the end...you go girl, you did have a pair of smaller scissors! They hurt my fingers too if i have to cut long. But at least we can hold them better.

Love the idea of the paper dolls, they r very cute. I am crocheting a beanie for my eldest son to match the mittens I crocheted him the other day. It's cold here where our property is in the NSW High Country, Australia and I am busy making items to keep my loved ones warm as we get lots of freezing winds. I love to crochet when I am well enough. I love and do all different arts and crafts. I hope to get back into sewing one day. I could not imagine doing something creative all the time, it's my thing, always has been.😊💗 Now my health just dictates what I can do when. You, sweet Lady, could use a Cricut! Try searching for a used one near you, that would save you money! You can design on a computer and it will cut!

Hi Kayla, your blue bird turned out very nicely. Love your idea on disguising the little bits of white showing after cutting him out….😉 I won’t tell! I’ve been practicing my piano pieces for playing at church on Sunday. I’ve also been coloring and crocheting. Plus I threw in a nap! Kayla, while you work on your paper dolls, I'm working along with you on a crochet shawl from Bag O Day Crochet! :) It's Crystal's 'Love of my Life Shawl. Today where we are in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada it was one of those "blazing hot" kinda days, so we were here trying not to melt away lol! It was 44 degrees celsius which is about 111 degrees fahrenheit! I hope you & Jody have been able to stay cool in any hot days where you are & always be safe. We just adore the two of you & your furbabies!

I crochet, but nothing fancy. My sister crocheted beautifully, but unfortunately got dementia in her early 50's. She doesn't know who I am anymore. I also color, and do puzzles. When my hands are really bothering me, I do puzzles. I tend to get tendinitis in my wrists that started from my job. I'm now retired from driving a school bus. I love watching your videos.

If I couldn’t crochet, perhaps writing. I tried coloring with crayons, and my vision wasn’t cooperating. Practicing would probably help with coloring. I purchased color pencils to draw a board book. I have been trying to finish up my WIPs. Weaving in ends with limited vision is very frustrating. Before I lost 50% of my vision, I did everything, beading, embroidery, polymer clay, shrinks dinks, anything and everything. You are inspiring me to do more art. I had planned to go to art school when I was a teen. I became a Teen Mom, instead. No regrets, what so ever. I eventually went to college to study child psychology, and was a preschool teacher. That is where I met John Kornya, at a hospital run child care center. He worked at the hospital. Enough of that. I have been workin on the story for the picture board book. Hopefully, my vision cooperates and I can draw the pictures to go along with the story. Love relaxing and spending time with you. By the way, your story was perfect, pure Kayla! Seriously, I think it was terrific! Sorry to hear of your stoma leakage. I can only imagine how horribly painful that is. Know what? I think I would stencil the image directly onto the journal page, then color it. Good Luck getting Jody back to writing club, next week. Love you ❤

Not doing nothing much crocheting a tablet holder for myself cause i stole the hubby tablet holder lol love your stencils there cute still working on my Mom's boho purse it's done just adding the tassles & desiging my own crocheted doll & working a granny squares for my first blanket to put on our bed when that's done gonna do your retangled blanket too keeping myself busy cause i get bored easy go na work on a art journal too.... Left handed scissor usually has left handed scissors written on package. You are learning how to cut with you left hand so that is going to take time and practice to get it down pat. So keep practicing you will get .

I am currently unable to crochet or do much of anything that requires hands. I took a fall, sprained my dominant thumb and wrist and have a contusion on the other hand and wrist and a contusion on my upper left rib cage. Oh, its healing. Im catching up on my reading. Theres always something to do.
