ok this is a small point, but a REALLY NICE touch: all the paradoxes have names less than or equal to twelve characters. SO MANY of these end up breaking the twelve character limit currently imposed by the mainline games, and I've seen mons go to thirteen, fifteen, or even MORE characters. But this channel sits within the limit even with the space, as it's MEANT to be! Small touch, but appreciated.

I am a certified Grumpig fan, I’m just happy Spoink doesn’t need to constantly bounce to stay alive after they evolve and they look really happy about it! That being said, I love the Paradox for Spoink and all the others, they’re just so cool!

I completely understand the negatives to Rhyperior, I love his entire demo stick about it. His hard vest, his entire design screams out to me that he's practically designed not for building but for demolishing. Saying that, Origin Drill screams best of both world's to me. Absolutely smashed it out of the park and now I'm lowkey hoping you'll take on a part two of this video. Thank you for the great content either way!

One time on a minecraft server i made my own paradix ralts. I called them Iron Squire and they even had their own lore. They would follow around Iron valiant and assist it in its goals, and when an iron valiant ceases function iron squire takes its parts and becomes iron valiant

I mostly agree with your takes all of these mons. I especially love your Jangmo-o and Crabrawler designs. The unevolved Paradox Mon is most like to see would be a past paradox that combines Nidorino and Nidorina like an inverse of Iron Valiant... Not sure if it would be Poison/Fighting or Poison/Dark tho.

I don't exactly think there's enough paradox Pokemon to say for sure, but it seems like there are themes regarding non-fully evolved paradox Pokemon. It seems like the only non-fully evolved Pokemon that can become paradoxes, specifically past ones, are those who evolve through methods other than level up. Jigglypuff needs a moon stone to become Wigglytuff, and Igglybuff was a cross-gen baby. Misdreavus needs a dusk stone to become Mismagius, which is also cross-gen. Magneton needs to be leveled up in certain areas (or have a thunder stone used on it in newer games) to become Magnezone, which is, again, cross-gen. The rest of the past paradox Pokemon either don't evolve, or evolve simply by level up. The explanation for this could be that these evolution methods simply didn't exist back when these paradox Pokemon were around, and this also explains why all of the future paradox Pokemon are fully evolved, as if these methods exist today, why wouldn't they in the future? Also, to future-proof this explanation, if any of the future paradox Pokemon happen to get any cross-gen evos, the Great Crater is specifically in Paldea, and all of the paradox Pokemon are based off of Pokemon found in Paldea. Cross-gen evos would obviously not be available in Paldea. Of course, none of this is to say these designs are terrible because they don't follow every little theme (I really like all of the Fakemon featured in this video), it's just something I noticed that I wanted to point out.

Surprisingly enough, I had the opposite response to Rhyperior. I remember loving it when it came out, but over time, Rhydon became the obviously better design, and Pokemon like Magmortar and Alolan Golem did the cannon gimmick much better. Now I just avoid the poor thing. Glad to see Origin Drill does the line justice. The number one rule of being a prehistoric badass is to have your wings on FLEEK, sistah!

When the Indigo Disk comes out, you can do another video talking about the first pokémon of every type, since as of Teal Mask some of the pokémon that were cute are no longer cute. Also don't forget Cutiefly as the first bug/fairy pokémon 😂 As for the cute pokémon with the question mark, I'd say Lunatone is indeed the first rock/psyquic because you said you will cover all the pokémon in pokédex order. The same goes for Mr. Mime and Galarian Slowbro (and for Numel and Primal Groudon since Primal Groudon doesn't exist Numel is a cute. With the Carbink case you can technically say Carbink and Diancie are cute because Diancie is a Carbink that transformed to Diancie). For the fairy type you can say the first fairy type that was change to fairy and the first fairy type that was designed to be fairy type.

I had ideas for Paradoxes of the base forms of the Vespiquen and Salazzle lines. Iron Drone - Combee Type: Electric/Flying Blazing Bandit - Slandit Type: Fire/Dark Signature Move - Yoink: Acts like Detect, dodging all moves. But when the opponent makes physical contact it either like steals or knocks off their item. It also can not dodges moves that ignore accuracy (Salazzle can learn Fire Lash in Gen 9)

Imagine if they did paradox pokemon of scrapped beta pokemon. Like Wartortle's original evolution or Blastoises original pre evolution. For Wartortle, i imagine it being water/dragon and a past paradox and the Blastoise pre evo being a future paradox called Iron Bubbler and being water/steel(?) Or water/flying?. But imagine doing that with any scrapped beta pokemon. That would be a great way to bring them into the series and give some lore.

Love this video! The first little guy probaly being my favorite. Also funny thing, I've been thinking of doing something similar with a sorta similar mindset Specifically for Clobbopus and Nosepass (my absolute favorite fighting type and second favorite rock type respectively) I love Clobbopus, its the cutest pokemon to me. But I dont like Grapploct that much, and was severly disappointed when my baby boxing glove boy evolved into whatever this thing was in my first playthrough. And I always loves Nosepass, cant really explain why though. But unlike Grapploct, Probopass has really grown on me, love how goofy he is. (I still like Nosepass more though.)

I thought all of the Pre-Evolution Paradoxes were all Past Paradoxes tied to Pokémon that had to evolve via Evolution Stone: Jigglypuff w/ Moon Stone, Magneton w/ Thunder Stone (Post-Generation 8) and Misdreavus w/ Dusk Stone. Potentially there's some lore hidden in there about the Evolution Stones being a relatively recent phenomenon? Either way, it feels a little strange that you went on a whole tangent at the end about the rules of Past Paradoxes designs while also not realizing another rule that completely shuts down most of the designs here. Clobber Claw is still pretty great though.

Honestly suprised at how cool some of the crabominable dex entries are, but yeah his actual stats and looks kinda tank it. Your past paradox crabrawler really saves the line thoh! Also as a rhyperior appreciator, i can understand the hatred, i just like him in spite of the hate because the construction motif and the big guy energy gives all rhyperiors an “EYYY IM WALKIN ERE” voice in my mind.

Make a either a a sport evolution or an evolution for the Beedrill line because I think Beedrill needs an evolution or the Pokémon before Beedrill baby can get a different evolution like it’s of a drill. Maybe I don’t know I hammer or sword.

@@deadbedspread Good point. I know they came out fairly recently, but I feel like a lot could be done with the destructive but also worryingly creative behavior of the Tinkaton line. This in mind, allow me to present Iron Talos. Iron Talos appears to be a massive amalgamation of parts from various other paradox pokemon. After it lands the final blow during combat, it sometimes produces a muffled sound akin to laughter. Theories surrounding the origin of this noise range from Iron Talos being controlled remotely to it being piloted by something within.

Crabominable’s design never bothered me as much as it did for others (I honestly don’t know what it is that makes me not dislike it) so it’s nice to see that subject not being the main focus of the bashing. If only the stat distribution was just a little more generous and then Ice/Fighting might’ve stood a chance instead of being yet another unfortunate slow glass cannon.
