I JUST LOVE watching you. Your happy upbeat smiling face makes me smile and get ready to get out in the garden and get things done. Even the things we don't really want to do.
It's great to see you're feeling a bit better, Danny 😊 Getting a lot of jobs done and the plans sound lovely, I especially like the potting bench and harvest table idea 💚 Stay warm and mind yourself 🤗💚🌿
Thank you. I'm definitely on the mend now. Finally I can get the big jobs done.. pending weather! So much rain! Potting and harvest area is definitely on the list of 1000 jobs. Danny 🌱
The open potting shed sounds like a good idea, with a long potting table and that will give you space underneath the table to put all pots and compost even hang your tools up 👌 that would look great and a few trailing flowers on the roof yeh go for it Danny ❤ nnice music again thankyou for sharing.
So good to see you're better Danny 🥰 love your new no dig bed is there anything better than seeing that dark compost ❤ heaven! Your plot looks fab as always 😊
Well they say it takes a village to raise a child and our gardens plants and allotments are like our babies so it's good to see people stepping up and helping when needed 🧑🌾🌱🌿🪻🌷🍓🥦🌽🌶️🍅
For outdoor potting area or harvest table: how about pair of foldable saw horses? Affordable, endlessly versatile, easy to set up or store away. Set a few boards on top and you're good to go! Thanks for another great video. Best of luck.
😮 yikes you’ve had your share of issues but glad your feeling better. Wow insta beds 💪💪. Can’t wait for spring and all its glorious colours. Have a fab week take things easy ❤, Ali 👩🌾
Your new beds are looking great! I love using cardboard in the garden, it is so good to keep weeds at bay and the worms love it! All the seedlings look very happy under your lovely new cloches! Keep out of the rain or your chest will get worse again. Look after yourself Danny! 😘💕🌸
Hi Danny, glad to hear you're feeling better, and that you're well enough for some 'dirt therapy' . The days are getting noticeably longer now and the long term weather forecast is looking better and better. The countdown is on!!! Have a great week ahead xx
Glad you are feeling better Danny and your new raised bed area looks fab. A bit of fresh air always helps when you're a bit under the weather. Take care 😊
Ooh! Spooky that you want an outside potting area, I was just thinking the same thing, I have a lot of spare old wood which could be used to do just that, next to my newest shed at the bottom of the garden, near the compost bins 😂🤗🤔
Hi Danny, I was wondering where you have been. I'm sorry to hear you have been poorly but, glad to see you back. I love your videos. Lovely job on those 2 new beds ❤ I like the pieces of plastic you have for your polytunnel, our plot is a windy site anyway & I'm going to use your idea of this for my polytunnel too, thanks for the tip ❤ lovely video update. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
It's all looking great Danny. We can always trust our Welsh rain to soak our cardboard for us 😅. I'm less likely to get it here but I know you are more at risk of snow. I hope you're lucky. Take care, Jane
@@TheGrowUpChannel you're a true valley's boi 😂 my richies the same. I'm too soft for snow. *bah humbug*. I took your advice and Clares and started putting up my first tunnels mini polytunnel today. Just uploaded a snippet . Wish we worked that fast. 😂😂 Have a great week and stay warm with your poorly chest. Jane
I absolutely love the design of your plot Danny! The no dig beds look perfect there. The way you were weaving through the beds with the paths you have created is brilliant. It’s like an all year round garden because even in winter the raised beds look great. Also the cloches look like they were made for them! I think this is my favourite RU-vid allotment garden 😁🌱
Thank you Robin! I have to admit they aren't cheap.. but it was my Christmas money. I shall add them to the description now for you. Thank you very much for watching Robin! Danny 🌱
Hi Danny, all looking good. I would not worry about snow anymore in fact according to long range that's also the last of the frost, that said 210 m so maybe few more light ones for me.
Hey Jim! Thank you so much. The grapevine plot tour was meant to be last week.. but its been delayed (and the work down there ) due to my health... but I'm feeling much better now.. so the grapevine is the priority this month for sure. Danny 🌱
It’s all looking so good Danny. I love the traditional beds too, a lovely mix of modern and traditional growing space on the plot. Really looking forward to seeing it all come to full life over the next few months. You’ve certainly been busy. Hope the chest continues to heal and the weather plays ball for us all 🙏🏻
All looks fabulous Danny, you've been really busy and all coming together now. I'm so looking forward to all your spring bulbs blooming for starters. No dig beds look fab especially with the fresh bark in-between. 😍❤
Don't encourage me to buy more! 😂 I had a raspberry fence at the grapevine when I first started the channel and took it out.. I missed it, as it was so easy to harvest. Danny 🌱
Hi Danny Great video…. thank you 🤗 The new bed looks fantastic 👍🏻 can’t wait to see everything growing and in full bloom. Could you possibly get a table/ seat area near where you plan to have your outside potting area? That would be lovely. Glad your feeling a bit better but as you know… don’t overdo things yet. Take care 🌷🍓🌺🥕🤗
Hey Katie! That's the plan I think.. might even cook outside this summer too! Stay tuned for the big build. Its all drawn up , may even show it on the live Thursday:)
Hello Vicky! I have to admit they aren't cheap.. but it was my Christmas money. I shall add them to the description now for you. Thank you very much for watching Danny 🌱
Thank you! Usually it's dropped off on site, for free by local tree surgeons. Call some in your area! If you're in my area the answer is different..." I dunno" 😅😂😂
Hello! I have to admit they aren't cheap.. but it was my Christmas money. I shall add them to the description now for you. Thank you very much for watching Danny 🌱
Glad to see you back in the plot Danny and that your feeling better 😊 Tony O'Neil should have given you a hand with them sleepers 😂 3:39 nature helping you out there mate 💪🏽🤣 It looks lovely after that but tidy up! Maybe I've missed something but why is there is solar panel stuck out of your banana tree 🤔 is it a trail cam? I love the community spirit on your plot, we don't get that at ours 😢 11:40 and did you get the slug from the poly tunnel cloche as it looks like his mates are on that one outside 🫣🐌 (oh you possibly did near the end haha) It's great to have a plan isn't it! There's so much to do 👏🏽😎 Have a fab week, see you Thursday Rach 🌱👩🏼🌾
Haha Tony's been unwell too lol yes I wondered if anyone would notice the wind blowing that card into place haha. Yes that's a trail camera lol I checked and its not a slug. Thankfully. Just condensation running back down the glass. Thankfully.! Danny 🌱
@TheGrowUpChannel Sorry, it was the spring cabbages in the polytunnel. I have some growing in my polytunnel and wasn't sure if they would transplant outside.
Nice one Danny. Haven't you finished moving stuff around yet? LOL Stop rubbing it in with the sweet peas 🙂 We are finding it difficult to get a regular supply of wood chip or bark. It seems that most arborists (tree surgeons to you LOL) are getting paid for it now to be used in bio-mass energy places 😣
Hey Jason! I lost a few of the older ladies sadly in autumn. They were old girls when I had them. I took them on for their retirement. I do have some of thr younger girls yes... going to expand the flock in spring 🙂
