This is a veeeery interesting line-up 😭. I don't know if you made that backline with the intention of Chigiri cutting inside like an inverted wingback (to support and overload the central midfield) since they have no DM and making the defence a back 3 (since Aryu is originally a CB). I'd switch Isagi with Rin though since the formation is already fluid with tons of playmakers/great passers (Reo, Nagi, Bachira) and also since Isagi needs a lot of movement from deeper on the pitch in order to move the opponent's defensive shape. Also Isagi on CAM allows him to feed off and create chemical reactions with LITERALLY EVERYONE on the pitch. A single line-up got me nerding out😭😭😭

Honestly I feel like the Egoist 4 are going to be the entire frontline at some point in the WC. Isagi and Kunigami up front and Bachira and Chigiri on the wins.

The best lineup i see is 3-1-4-2 or a 3-5-2 Gagamaru in goal Tokimitsu - aiku - aryu (CB) kurasou/Nikko/reo (CDM) bachira - rin - isagi - chigiri (MF&WB) nagi/kunigami - shidou/barou (ST) TBH I wanted rin and shidou as the final attack and nagi dropping deeper but it's better to keep those two as far as possible , also imagine reo hitting a long ball from deep CDM and nagi just nonchalantly taking it and scoring the most disrespectful goal ....

Here is my front 6 LW- ISAGI (he will have a better view of the whole place to use his meta vision to almost the best) ST- BAROU ( its a bit of a hard take cuz nagi and rin fits in too aside from that everyone knows to get the ball to Barou and he smashes) RW- NAGI (straight up one of the best striker and he will do bettter with the support) Behind isagi- Bachira ( we know how well bachira and isagi function together and even Barou will work together "hopefully" these 3 will have one side clear) Behind Nagi- REO (Is a great player can just copy everyone in the match and by being behind nagi these 2 are if not the deadliest duo in whole of blue lock) Behind barou(CAM)- RIN( i mean we saw in the u-20 match how much of a perfect player he is. Even my bro said that he has the best overall in all of blue lock. He has that deadly vision) Now thats it. These 6 players will bring out the the best for their forwards and are even deadly on their own.

Could see tokomitsu come on as a defender or defensive midfielder later in the game when both teams are tired his physicality and speed would prevent counter attacks and pick apart sloppy play due to tiredness

I would say Shidou could be a part of the Blue Lock XI as he can pair up with Hiori. Hiori possess a high game IQ and really good passing ability and not only that he passes to the striker with the most chance of scoring a goal at that moment. Moreover, don't forget that he can be even paired up with Kurnoa or Reo too as they were the part of the 7th clear team in the Third Selection. All in all I think Shidou, Hiori and Reo should definitely start in Blue Lock XI and maybe Kurnoa too.

For me the most creative formation is a 4-4-2 that shapes like 2-3-3-2. Left out our top 3 guys for funsies. The Offense: #7 & 9 ST: Nagi for his in the box playmaking and Shido for his 33% conversion rate on impossibly difficult shots. Hiori as my #8 directing goals @ CAM, for a midfielder he's simply too sick. Bachira @ RW with Otoya @ RB, and Chigiri @ LW with Zantetsu @ LB. I put Bachira on the wing bc he's too egocentric to be in the central area. With his new read-and-react style he can use the touchline to anchor himself. In the event of a loose ball, he doesn't really have the physicals or stamina to recover or press. Tokimitsu or Kurona suit the b2b role better imo. Plus Bachira has the most beautiful cross passes in the series. Otoya can creep up and do his 'fox in the box' thing, though now he has elite playmaking. I think Otoya's shinobi style has greater potential on defense, and my reasoning is the same for Zantetsu. He has his golden zone to score outside the pa, and we know he can cut in to cross a nice pass. But acceleration is great for challenging 'false gaps' and open space on defense, accounting for any lobs or counterattacks, and marking other speedy wingers. The Defense: Japan needs Reo to get his shit together and lock down that CDM position. With chameleon he functions like a baby Aiku in the middle third, but with the deep playmaking abilities of a holding midfielder. & ofc @ CB the real Aiku as our libero, and Aryu bc he's the perfect anti-air bot. Niko doesn't have the brawn and Raichi doesn't have the brain. Finally, Gagamaru! Creatively I'd love to see him play as more of a sweeper-keeper/rush goalie, much like irl Germany's Neuer if you're familiar with the legend. Looking at Gagamaru's stats, his passing and speed attributes are both pretty high at ~88, so we'll have him help in build-ups.

As the manga goes on we are building the team from the back to the front. I think Ego is building a full team. I don’t think Sae will be apart of it, I think he’ll go back to Spain or wherever. Goalie - Gagamaru Defenders so far - Aiku, Niko, Aryu needing one more I think Raichi can be that one because there’s better midfielders than him. Midfielders - Reo, Karasu, Kurona possibly. Strikers - I honestly don’t know who the writer will make the final 3 strikers including isagi. You could say Nagi and Rin but what about Barou…You would be leaving out Bachira and Kunigami as well. I don’t think some of our favorite strikers will reach the end. And honestly I don’t think they all will play for Japan for the World Cup. I don’t know if it’s been said by them but I don’t think all of their dreams are to play for the World Cup.

Sae would play, after the U-20 match he acknowledged Isagi as a striker that could lead japan to victory, Sae said that he would one day make the best pass to the best striker and he would want to play with Isagi because of that, with how the Neo Egoist League is going theres no doubt that Isagi will gain more forward capabilities allowing Sae to gain interest in playing for Japan as Isagi would be the leading striker.

I think the Egoist 4 said individually they want to win the World Cup including Reo and Nagi but all the others just said they want to be the best striker. I do think at some point the player in the NEL will start to take offers from teams. I think Barou as well will take a offer and go Pro ahead of others. Shidou may go play for a pro team after the final game. Rin may go play or stay idk if he said he wants to win the World Cup or not I can’t remember. Isagi, Bachira, Chigiri, Kunigami Reo, Nagi are the 6 I can remember wanting to play for the World Cup.

My take (3-5-2) Gagamaru Aiku-Nikko-Aryu Kurona - Bachira - Reo - Isagi - Chigiri Rin - Nagi Reo plays as a holding midfielder, with Bachira as a box-to-box and Isagi pushing forward. Nagi drops deep and Rin leads the attack. However, Barou could also play instead of either Rin or Nagi, as well as Kunigami. Yukimiya could come in for Kurona.

I think for canon it’s right but I do think most fan favs will be in the game.I think Shidou would be an equalizer like Barou was in U-20 cause I’m sure the author will want another crazy ass Shidou goal.And I can see Barou,Isagi,Shidou,Rin&Nagi scoring first game.

Few things, 1 I would hate seeing rin as main striker, it would be just boring to see him being number one again. 2 I think sae will join U20 team but not right at begining, they will need to imprese him with theirs games. 3 For me Karasu is to good to not be in starting XI so I would put him on right/left back. 4 I think Isagi won't be starting striker or he won't be starting at all but for final or thier last game he will be main striker. I would switch rin and isagis position I just don’t see Isagi being fit as a striker so far he’s shown he’s dominant as a midfielder and I’m sure throughout the manga he will start to notice that his abilities fit better in the midfield

I feel like Reo can be almost anywhere... I personally look towards the U20 arc when I consider Reo for these and put him at CB with Aiku for an unbreakable wall of evolved Chameleon + evolved Snake. I get the CM placement with Nagi at wing so I'm not mad. I'd rather use Niko at CDM with 217 out hes confirmed to have metavision and being at CDM puts him closer to the middle where he can call out faster and be there to press anyone like he did Isagi.

I still don't think that Shidou will play with them, for sure he will be with Sae again.

I wouldve put Isagi in the RWF instead of CF and put Barou there.

I’d put Raichi at right fullback because he’s a 1-on-1 dual specialist. He would be taking on other teams best striker on his side of the field. Although he’s at DFM now it’s kinda pointless if it’s only using 50% of his full potential of 1-on-1’s. For example if chigiri and raichi were on different teams I’d want raichi to guard chigiri up and down the field. Never running out of stamina as chigiri is tiring from goin all out the entire game shutting him down for late game scenarios. But is a defender you can put anywhere really but that’s where I’d put him.

I think that barou should play up too as the best pure striker and isagi should ply as a shadow striker as it really ties into there theme of devouring each other and there chemical reaction is better than isagi Rin. Then I think bachira should replace reo and Rin should play on the RW as they have a decent chemical reaction but then Rin will play on the opposite wing to say which could act for some nice across pitch balls. Nagi and Reo are great players but I don’t see nagi playing as a winger and I feel there more like a super sun duo that can shock the pitch then starting players
