Creating the POWERFUL Angevin Empire in Crusader Kings 3 

I've always wondered why the Angevin Empire isn't a creatable empire in CK3. I feel like it would fit right in there.

It’s actually fitting that you keep the capital in Anjou as the Plantagenets famously preferred to be buried in anjou or Aquitaine.

Alexia is a great first spouse at the 1066 start date. She's always available and with good traits from two groups she's a good start to any Eugenics program.

I think it'd be fun to see you do a game where you just always choose the worst possible option for every random event and see how difficult you can make things, basically like a cursed dynasty.

The AI of that game never ceases to disappoint at time. All that work and wht they had going for them near the end, only to evaporate not long after.

Fun history fact. Everyone, including yourself, believes it was called the angivan empire because the rulers were from anjou. While this is still true, it's actually because angivan(pronounced ang, ee, van where the "ang" is pronounced like angus beef)was the French way to say anglican or English empire because the ruling family was from England.

This is the first time I have heard someone pronounce "Hwicce" like "wise". It should be pronounced more like "witch" because of the double c. In modern English spelling it'd probably be spelled something like "Whitche"

The Count of Tours' (whose realm neighbours Anjou) descendants, a couple generations later, was the founder of the Plantagenet dynasty, you should've started as the Count there and murdered your brother to inherit Anjou, and then work forward from there.

Someone Angevin is someone that lives in Anjou. So you have to keep your capital in Anjou for it to be consistant, which is interesting.

Nooooooo, shouldve create a cadet branch of the robertian dynasty. Yes the plantagenet doesnt came from the capetian but from a mere baron family that married the future queen of england. But still, there are only three Angevin dynasties. The Capetian houses, their parent house of Robertian, and the Plantagenet

I saw the AI form a beefed up version of this empire once, except they controlled all of the British Isles and all of France.

idk if the ai develops their land but that couldve been why england was making so much. you should choose a capital and develop it endlessly for the whole game. overtime your income will get much higher.

Of course it instantly collapsed, your character was 69 when you started observing and none of your culture spread. There was probably an instant faction that shattered the empire. Should've waited and done the hybrid culture and let it spread to a few counties first
