I just started my YT channel and I feel like people like short and simple videos vs longer videos Plus YT shorts seems like the best way to put your channel out there and get more subscribers

Agreed on both parts!! That’s why I really like shorts, they help get a good subscriber base imo. Your newest video is sweet btw, very chill vibe - would be fitting for a voice over tutorial wouldn’t it? Since you already explain all the steps in it :)

@@mayuuuc88 They do, and that's the same thing with short videos also(anything between 7-10mins in my opinion l) Thank you! It really means a lot to hear that, coming from another artist. I am trying to get one the Microphones for the phone so I can do voice overs/talk while I'm doing videos

No, it's just that shorts allow you to experiment a lot which is especially good when just starting out. You can produce high quality videos faster. Also the way the videos are served are different. You basically have no choice but to watch them or not. You can't ignore the video's existence. Also another obvious thing is that people will watch more shorter videos than longer videos in the same timespan. It's also easier to keep the attention of the viewer over 1 min than it is to keep the attention over 5+ mins. This really is the hardest part and something you can't learn with only creating short form video content.
