I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.

To fill this gap, I developed a blog for kidney disease patients, “Kidneyblogs.com,” where patients could find the correct information-and access a nephrologist for kidney-related questions. But then, I realized that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the RU-vid channel you will explore.

Ji bilkul thek. So your nephrologist will guide you if it is normal for your health status. In Pakistan, if you have Cr 1.3, it better be checked and make sure there is no kidney disease.

Sir my doctor treating my Rheumatoid arthritis with Hydroxchloroquine and Meloxicam. Now he stopped the steroids . I asked my Dr that Meloxicam is harmful for kidneys. He said no . My patients have been taking it for twenty years. Sir is it true that Meloxicam is not harmful for kidneys like Diclofenac Ibuprufen or other NSAIDs

Yes it is not as harm as Diclofenac. But you can use it keeping an eye out for kidney fucntion tests periodically, plus do exercise to fight your pain. EXERCISE is an excellent pain killer.

Sir i am not sure kay apki ADPKD ki kia speed or apki kia age hai. Or mera nahi hayal kay is stage per kuch or kia ja sakta hai. Bus apna blood pressure 110/70 say neechay rakhain, sirf yehi ADPKD ki treatment hai. Or please apni baqi family ki kidney screening or ultrasound zaror karwayn.

Sir I am on CKD stage-5. Now I am on dialysis for the last 6 months. Kindies have been shrinked. Sir, should I just take medicine for controlling creatining and Uria or just I need to control my blood pressure? My creatinine after 2 days of dialysis is 10.9. and Uria 129.

Sir you need some basic medicines to maintain your health while you are on dialysis. This is very high creatinine after dialysis. You should speak with your nephrologist

@@kidneyblogs Sir I've consulted with my nephrologist. He just said nothing to worry about it. Creatinine just evaluates the eGFR. When you are on dialysis your eGFR is already zero. Then why are you worried about your creatinine value.
