Actually it is good to move all the bill payments on to BPBS. Just that RBI is pushing the banks to take it seriously. Guessing that it will be extended considering only 8 banks are on BPBS.

Check the list at timestamp 2:23 IndusInd Bank is part of that list. It means that not only you can make BBPS payments on the CRED app using your IndusInd Bank account, you can directly pay from the IndusInd Bank's billpay feature.

Same problem. I called customer care they says there is no such update as off now.

I think, HDFC Bill pay also works on Bharat Bill Pay services. But only 8 banks are on BBPS. So, only these 8 banks will work on HDFC Billpay unless all the banks get onboarded on BBPS.
