It just goes to show how good bands are a perfect storm of people put together. Jonathan basically completed Korn. He gave them that unique-ness, strangness, quirky-ness this band needed. This band as is sounds like another 90's rip off of alice in chains or something.
The name of the singer is Corey Cinque. He only stayed in Creep for a while, then they got Jon Davis, changed their name to Korn and the rest is history!
It was L.A.P.D before Head joined, then he joined and they got rid of the singer and changed their name to Creep. Then once Jonathan came into the band he suggested the name KoRn and they changed it to that. The rest as they say is history. It's all in Head's book, and Fieldy's to I think.
Cool, I didn't know there even was a recording of this version. Thanks for posting. I wish there was a clear recording of MoLested like this...the only video I've been able to find of that was a recording of a live show from '93 on a video camera...not very clear quality lol.
Funny how you listen to JDs earlier stuff then combine it with anything pre-Korn (this and LAPD) then you make the equation. Just reminds me that the right combination will find itself.
@emonemojay its an early version of my gift to you by korn. there was also a version called molested that korn used to play in 93 before thet were signed.
@CrackedStyle coincidence? kuz he dont just say "this aint the place" (he adds "i wanna be in") and he dont just repeats it like jd. he just says it twice...
Yea, I recognize this from the vid of the "2nd korn show" on here. I still cant figure out the timeline of the band Creep. Im thinking it was LAPD after they lost their previous singer??
oh my god i just realized, jonathan ripped off the lyrics from 3:00. tis aint the time, this aint the place, he used those same lyrics for i will protect you from the untitled album.
So this band is KoRn when they rebraned from LAPD, right? Some people thought that KoRn style was brought to band by Davis who supposedly took it from his band SexArt, but if this is pre John period it means LAPD members came with this style on their own.
@@lodidodi89 Most of the song yes, is mostly grunge inspired track I guess but part that starts at 0:34 is pretty much blueprint for KoRn sound on first album.
There just 5 songs of Creep right? See Through,Soul sucks, why cant i breath, dont know why (like a divine/Korn demo) and i dont remember da last one u.u
