Hey what problems are you having with your atv?

I have a1998 big bear 350 the carb is in bad shape was running ok but got hard to crank after rideing for about a week I don't know much about the atv I just got it I took carb off to clean it first ting I seem was float was cracked well broke on side an the set screw was striped so can't get it out or to move an can't seem to find a ome or a mikuni carburetor online an I read lot of bad things on the aftermarket carburetors that I'm scared to try one... also some times when pull cranking it seems like the starter is engaged an a quick snatch it disengage I'm don't know what would cause that Iv never had anything like that happen on any atv before maybe you can help me out an lead me in the right way to get this atv fixed an going again

@@justinerkhart4611 The aftermarket Chinese carburetors are actually pretty good I have used them many times with no issues. you should be able to find a clone style of your carburetor and it will go right on no problem.

It was stalling out when it would get hot and the resistance was way out of spec.

I can't find it anywhere. Do you know what the resistance is supposed to be? Mine won't start and has no spark. Wires to the CDi and the coil test good so I'm thinking it's the stator.

@@FlatCreekFab Yes I did. The wires were broken ALMOST in half so when you moved it just right it would OHM out fine. I ended up pulling the wrapping off the wire and checked it by hand all over the bike and found 2 that were damaged and not letting the voltage flow through enough to maintain a signal so that the CDi etc would fire. I repaired the wires with waterproof couplings and heat shrink and rewraped it all. It fired right up and hasn't had an issue since. Crazy thing is I had 2 within a month with the exact problem. It was the wire running from the stator to the CDi box on both.
