Thanks Chris, this video helped a lot to improve my stance. I realized today that my head would not stay still if I try to hit big. I get bowled out most of the time since I remove my eyes from the ball. Will try to get still from now on.
Excellent video, great demonstrations, good narrative, easy to follow and valuable (personal) advice/experience. Particularly like the 'don't give it 100%', rely on timing and technique advice...thank you
Incredibly helpful ! Loved all ur POINTS. 1. Working the good balls fr singles n doubles, whilst running hard the first or the second when u are taking on the fielder at long on. 2. Massive key is keeping your head still no matter what, even if u r not timing the ball well. 3. Hit the ball as straight as possible.
Just started playing village cricket. The 3 bat tips were very handy ,especially head still. I keep moving and the tips were handy - thanks Chris, Simon in Somerset
Even though we are stars supporters, you are my eleven year olds favourite batsman. Thanks for the video. We now have to go out and practice what you have just said.😁
Have never played the game. I grew up playing Ice hockey and North American Football. I have anew neighbour who is a cricket fan and he has talked about the game so I thought I would like to learn how it is played. Thanks for the insight into batting and the theory behind why and how you bat.
whatever he said in this video he really has implemented them in is game quite beautifully.i mean just look at what he has done in this year's big bash and previous year's big bash as well. SALUTE.
I really liked this video now I understood how to control my innings just one question... what should I do in case I have initial feet movement when bowler is loading.? pls clear my doubt..
Thanks Lynn. It's great to watch your batting especially the kind of shots u r playing (Amazing). By your tips 🤠 I came to know that how can I control the game. You r my superstar 😍😘.
Respected sir, wonderfully explained us about being busy with legs, using back foot sometimes, running between wickets ofcourse, and always trying to hit strait initially, all these with a level head n head pretty much I believe in mind as well. It's a game. But my question is.. I'm used to back lift my bat with left hand, and it's strait... ie... Exactly the face of bat fully open and a vertical rectangle....whereas most others keep their bats lifted up a bit across....like even your lift. (not too high position). My grip is v shaped and does it any make difference... as I face difficulty sometimes when the balls off side are too pacy and when I attempt ondrive.... on front foot. Please explain and demonstrate a perfect ondrive......! Thanking you
Very nice video. Pls can you share your idea upon how to score runs of an in-swinging delivery aimed at ur chest height? This is d most difficult delivery to play for runs according to me, as I struggle a lot with it by only blocking/defend it with a soft hand.
This technique of standing deep in Crease against good bowling is good on Mat or Hard/ Bouncy Wickets. But on a Evenly paced /Slow track once ur eye sets in one sud b on front foot, one still can play play front foot Pull or hook.
Do you have some more tips to increase my strike rate, some times I am getting stuck at crease and not making runs as per requirement ...espacillay offside ones
INDEED a very good batting technique NO DOUBT ! I WILL apply on it ..... to get better and better in my batting style etc ..... SUPERB ! Chris LYNN sir !
Simple hints especially for young batters, sometimes they need a pattern or direction to work with otherwise they could get lost and all in a batting slump.
Thank you👌 I am a horrible bowler and I bowl really slowly and I will try slamming a basketball down on the floor but if there are any other ways to help me can u please comment
