By confessing to the covid rules you commit the 7 deadly sins and you'll end up in hell: 1. Pride, you have forgotten the face of your very own father; 2. Jealousy, makes the youngest have to give up their mighty immune system for you; 3. Anger, at seeing QR-less people outside their quarantine zone; 4. Lust, to satisfy your craving for tested, masked and penetrating rituals; 5. Greed, to take precedence over your fellow man when you go traveling, dining and urinating; 6. Lazyness, has led you to believe that masks, tests and vaccinations work miracles for you and others; 7. Gluttony, because you've become addicted to boosters and shots. That's why falling down the stairs is not a reason, to be quicker down or for a deadly misfeasance.
It is said that this movie single-handedly killed the crime and psychological thriller genre It was so good that a lot of movies in the same genre failed and none didn’t even have the potential to match it
I disagree. There are plenty of psychological thrills out there that I think are better than this. Also many crime movies that have better commentary on real social issues which I find to be more important.
Knowing your investigating a psycho, you should always make sure about the safety of your family first like asking them to move out of the country for a moment while you chase the suspect though easier said than done when your not that privileged.
Yeah, fact is that most detectives can't exactly just uproot their family and move them out of danger when investigating a psychopath or serial killer.
@@dennissluijk1789 My point still stands, they can't just uproot their family and move them out of the country on the off-chance that the killer manages to investigate a detective and find their family then use them either for blackmail or just to send a message.
I remembered this film so well because I watched it in the cinema in my first year of college... This movie and 'Fight Club'... Nowadays, they don't make movies like those anymore... movies that traumatizes you (in a good way) a bit after watching it...
I'd you think this is terrifying you're stupid humanity advances. You should watch the Mario movie, Barbie movie, tmnt movie, or any live action movie. Those movies will give you nightmares Or try scream 78
Loved the movie! Wasn't expecting the ending but it was quite interesting and exciting, I have always been a fan of anything *seven deadly sins* so this movie really worked for me.
@@aakashmalik8615 I wish I could but most of them are books that I read a while ago so I forgot their names I'll try to find some more movies though! Happy to meet anyone interested in seven deadly sins movies too!
@@shadowslayer669 Ouch! That’s interesting, though. Was it pretty deep? Did you need stitches? I hope it healed up fine and that it doesn’t hurt or anything. Like I said-definitely depends on how deep the wound is. If there’s a whole chunk taken out that’s pretty deep tissue damage! Yeowch!
My friend told me that the killer didn't want to be credited on the promotional materials so it would be a surprise, so I was looking for someone famous the whole time. Even saw the cameraman and was like "don't recognize him, can't be him"...
you guys do realize hes not worried about leaving fingerprints at the crime scene, he didnt want to be identified. he is "John Doe" a placeholder name used in American law enforcement for unidentified individuals or diseased. did you not pay attention at all? It also happened to be a convenient excuse for all the blood on him after he came to the police station after murdering Tracey.
there is something i never realized until today when it clicked. one more aspect of what made training day such a masterpiece was it's turning the the premise of "two detectives, one rookie one veteran" from this masterpiece on it's head, giving it a polar opposite end result
How did Pitt become wrath if he isn't dead? Doesn't that ruin the whole "killing all 7 sins" thing? It could probably be considered a symbolic death or something, since his life is basically over now
Wrath dying doesn't exactly fit, rather the death of his wife and him killing in a rage is. Besides, death wasn't a requirement. Sloth survived, Pride had the option to survive, albeit maimed. John Doe just had to take away/punish each sin (even his own as Envy).
@@justsomeguywithagoatee8337 Pride had to die otherwise it wouldn't be Pride. The model was too prideful about her own beauty to live without her face.
When I saw this movie not long ago, I thought this was gonna be another generic movie that just some happened to like, as soon as I watched it I was hooked. I love the movie
What charges would the agent face after shooting the murderer of his wife? Surely he would not get too much of a sentence, considering the trauma he just experienced, right?
The agent would have to face internal affair and he would lose his job it’s not the agents place to play judge jury and executioner so he would face a murder charge
realistically they’d try to play it off as if the suspect tried to attack him yk how corrupt the law enforcement is now says people are literally getting shot in the street in front of 10+ witnesses by the cops and they’re getting away with it 🤷♂️
@@mclovin5445 you watch too much movies in real life no matter what happens if a cop shoots a civilian internal affairs will always step in and that’s a different department from the police force
@@pineappleproduction795 what does watching movies have to do w what i said lmao and also even if internal affair steps in u don’t think cops aren’t cool w the people who work for internal ? u don’t think the cops’ coworkers are gonna vouch for him and say that he’s a good guy and would never shoot anyone wrongfully on purpose lmao u need to wake up and realize wtf actually goes on in the world coming from someone who has been through the judicial system before everything is not always honest and i’d say cops get the blame put on them maybe 1/10 times they always get bailed out and even if they do get charged they’re gonna get a reduction on the sentence and then do a year or two and get out on good behavior , people who think like u need to wake tf up and stop thinking the world is full of good guys lmao
The other option was to wear gloves , 4 for 3 dollars at KMart and just to be “that guy “ by cutting off the skin , prints return but if you want to believe they are gone his scarred fingerprint impressions at a crime scene are just identifiable as they are unique . A great crime movie accurately forensic aware is Mr BROOKS . Great movie .
@@JacksonWalter735 no worries mate , I forget at times RU-vid goes so far and wide some things or sayings don’t make sense to other people . I often talk all things NBA and say some things that would make no sense at all in particular to about the 90s style of play compared to now .
Upon watching this movie for the first time, I believed the killer did not actually kill the wife and it was all a trick to get the young detective to finish his plan in an effort to show how wrath is a double-edged sword that dulls the brain to logic and reason. After killing him, he would look in the box and realize the head was just a good fake and that his wife was safe at home.
@@jackcary6070 Like I said, a good fake. That combined with the sheer stress of the situation would be enough to even partially convince him - even if it isn't 100%. Also, the serial killer is smart enough to trick the police at every turn but couldn't make a convincing decapitated head? Once the final scene ended, I realized I was wrong but still thought it would have been an interesting way to end it. The best villains are always the ones that make the most sense, but with the ending we got, I don't think it was all that great because there was no real point or meaning behind the killings other than... he crazy 😂
It would make no sense. There would be no sin of envy and Tracey (idk how it's spelled) was killed because of John's envious nature. If he used a fake instead of giving in to his sin, then he wasn't truly envious.
Criminal get caught We have your fingerprints! He : Cuts off fingers. We have your face! He : Cuts off his face. We know your height and body shape! He : Cuts off his leg and parts of his hips. …..
I feel old when people comment that they watched this video to watch the film and found it good. I read the title of the video to give myself phenomenal flashbacks of the first time watching it.
This movie is good to the point that i enjoyed every single scene. I mean the light, the ambience is the definition of suspense, just like " The Bone Collector" and "Heat". Regarding this gender (gory), Joker is the one that stands out for me.
Enjoyed the movie and movie recap. Interesting title, "Seven Deadly Sins" I'm not sure what Sins one would say Spacey committed. I'm just glad Kevin Spacey finally will have to go to trial over his predatory nature towards young men and boys. 💪🏻
I have yet to see a similar movie that's worth a 1% of this masterpiece. what made me enjoy it so much was that, for once, I didn't knew how it would end. I had a couple possible scenarios but I didn't knew which was the correct one. to my surprise, the "bad guy" wasn't the last sinner but the sixth. and seventh sinner survived. that was one of the few scenarios I hadn't though could end the movie. technically, no plot twists either. it's easy to see, from the start, that he was a sinner and would die near the end of the movie. the only plot twist is that the bad guy wasn't the last sinner. the seventh was the cop.
