FYI this also applies to Vire Sabers and Darkwolf and all LGT resellers. These are standard LGT pixel blades. Crimson Dawn does not make them and has no influence over their design.
@@StarWarsIRL ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FvbQ3thGNC8.html something like this where the blades are getting hit together several times, we plan on doing this in the spring with my DarkWolf Sabers Neopixel.
Got 2 neo pixels on the way and I am so stoked to use that saberstaff. Attempting to make a fan film and will be featuring and crediting all the saber makers i use for hints on screen
All these Crimson Dawn videos are getting me really excited about the future. The saber community may finally have an affordable, reliable, and genuine saber company that’s run by nice people!
@@general_dude8025 I don’t know about Bendu, but I wouldn’t call Sabertrio and Electrum affordable at all. Especially on this level. The Pach Store is very very low and bad quality, but you’re right they are affordable.
@@BWayne-si9evthey are affordable in the sense that they offer good quality and features at a low price. Of course LGT can beat them, they’re a Chinese manufacturer. Pach really isn’t all that bad, especially not their Flyte and the UW line.
@@general_dude8025 I have 3 Pach Store sabers and don’t duel with them. 2 of them don’t hold a charge anymore after a year and one was just garbage quality that I use as a display piece. But I’m very excited to get my first neopixel since I can afford Crimson Dawn’s prices!
@@BWayne-si9ev how much were the Pach sabers? The older budget WF sabers used YDD electronics. That explains it. Crimson Dawn is, again, just a reseller of LGTsaberstudio. It’d be cheaper to buy from Darkwolf FYI. DW has excellent CS as well, and they dropship (because of their extremely close affiliation with LGT; they helped design most of not all of LGT’s proprietary boards) with free shipping.
Spent the last week in depth shopping for my first light saber and this video on top of some testimony I have heard, just sold me in you guys. Time to go pick out which one I want.
That is so sick😮. I'm coming back to star wars stuff again and its so fun to play the star wars games, watch movies. And just have fun with looking at star wars things.
I've talked to Omega on the phone before, and I gotta say, the company this man runs is incredible and he's a cool dude. If you're looking at this comment for an idea on which lightsabers to buy, definitely go with Crimson Dawn. I would however recommend getting one of their smoothswing lightsabers. It doesn't necessarily have to be neopxel, however.
Waiting to receive my T3 mysterybox tomorrow, cant' wait to see what hilt I get. Amazing delivery time. Less than 2 weeks since ordering and it had to ship to Ireland!
Just pulled the trigger on a nice mystery box. I was looking for awhile when I found Crimson Dawn. I’m also pleased keeping it local. Montgomery TX is 10 miles from home. Good job fellas!!!
8:00 This point here should highlighted: Pixel blades are HEAVY. Hilt included, you're swinging about 2.5lbs on average. I got my very first saber back in December, a neopixel, and when I first started training with it, I managed to smack myself in the head once and in my leg a couple of times and it actually kind of sucked 😆. Took about a week and change to condition myself to the weight, but now it feels awesome to swing around and maneuver with. They're an awesome workout too when you really start getting into it.
So every bit of content I've seen around neopixel blades lately points to the fact that it takes some pretty serious effort to damage them, and I include my own experience in that also. These guys are going full-contact and are actually SWINGING the things at each other, and the blades are holding up just fine. Now the quality of pixel blades can sometimes on where you get them from, but they're generally going to hold up fine as long as you're not swinging them into sturdier objects with all your might. I'd say if you want to be totally certain, Bendu Armory makes a Pixel Battle Blade rated for dueling and they back them with a warranty.
I have both neopixel and base lit CD sabers, they are both fantastic but the base lit is by far better for contact due to the low inertia. You can just swing the saber much faster and when you make contact it won't vibrate nearly as much. The neo's are second to none for visual effects, but if you want to have fun with duals, go base lit.
@@jeygran4540 Even better too, if you get a FX saber with Crystal Focus X soundboard upgrade, you can duel with them even harder. Neo and FX Focus X upgrade are essentially the same but with "Less" features and less brightness but its almost a near dill difference. Neo is like ALL the way just with less duelibility. FX= 100% all out technically Neo= 60%-80% power (Depending where u get ur blade/company and ONLY the blade) Example- facebook.com/BenduArmory/posts/1104915339952511
Can we see the graflex on its own with its colours and fonts and whether it’s duellable? Like in an overview or something? I’ve been looking at it for a very long time and I’d like to see it up close! 👍🏾💪🏾
That's so cool! I'm just curious how to buy a neopixel lightsaber from you. but I don't no how. I really wanna buy a neopixel duel set so to I have to buy heavier blades or something? And what are the prizes?
most lightsabers would just break on the spot. the blade would prob fall off the hilt and break it in the process. this is why neopixel lightsabers are high quality.
these blades do break if you use them a lot and abuse them in fights, mine just snapped last night from taking a hit in a fight, the grub screw held it in place and wasn't over tightened, and the break line went up as high as the end of the hilt
@@dattboiiddog5816 ugh... why wouldn't you? Choreography isn't about hitting the other person as hard as you can. Lmmfao... and "staging" a fight is to get better and to learn ones moves so you can be fluent and not just trying to smack each other like some ratards. But you have your opinion and I have mine
i think next time...a choreographed fight would not only test the blades better, but itll look better too :) other than that i cant believe how durable the neopixels are
how much light do they emit, by that i mean how bright are they, do they color change? i cant decide on the brightness as most pics of them on the website are in the day and look like some 10 dollar blades (the light)
Proffies will be back in stock in like a week-ish. These are standard Neopixels. Get your proffie while you can though!! They're going fast on the presale but Omega will get more in stock don't worry!
Post-covid shipping *SUUUUCKS* - most things that require shipping have had the cost of doing so going up lately, and the places which aren't increasing their shipping costs can only get away with it because they have standing deals with a company that keeps the price low.
It’s so disappointing to see people who like Star Wars fight like they’ve never seen a movie. Me and my brother who is 4 years younger than me fight on Obi-Wan Vs Anakin levels constantly and we’re self taught and grew up with giant hilted plastic retractable lightsabers. No offense to people who fight like this but this isn’t a fencing competition lol you gotta learn to block even at the weirdest angles and think outside of the box when you strike, most people fight like these guys and can only block the most obvious strikes with their sword/saber. I’ll have a video up some time soon of us fighting in our dark ass basement or maybe even our yard at night if you don’t believe me. If you wanna fight like the movies you gotta learn to ignore all the restrictive teachings of fencing and stuff and fight the way that feels natural for you.
That's why lightsaber dual like we've seen in star wars for 40 years, would never work in real life, people would get their limbs, fingers, hands, arms and face cut off real quick and it would be over really fast. Not mentioning both wielders could potentially get hurt and cut at the same time while fighting when lightsabers rebounds all over the place.
@@417Owsy Of course, its a great George Lucas way to justify lightsaber fight choreography. Which means Finn should have easily been cut into tiny pieces and blast into oblivion when he fought Ren ! :)
@@RealEkcreations i don’t know about that, I have a rather larger hilt and the 36 gives me great momentum during duels. I’d recommend a 36 if you’ve got a strong arm but a 32 will give you more mobility and make it easier to be flashy
