Cringy Video Reaction: Nelson - (Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection 

Man...I honestly thought you were going to be some thrash metal hardcore fan and completely dump all over this. But, I really enjoyed this reaction. I have a lot of respect for nelson and so many more musicians and songwriters of all genres so it's good to see some love for this even though it was pretty cheesy. Thanks for entertaining while reviewing. Rock on!

The Guy playing guitar (the backwards solo) is Brett Garsed who is one of the most badass guitarists on the planet. Spent a lot of time as a sideman for his fellow countryman John Farnham and some solo stuff. Crazy good and tasteful to boot.

Nelson, Enuff ZNuff, Danger Danger, Trixter, Firehouse, etc. I remember some of these bands from the late 80's to the early 90's. Music wise they weren't so bad. But from a video standpoint, oooooh boy.

I'm an Identical Twin. My Dad was an Identical Twin. I have cousins that are Identical Twins. Hell I went to H.S. with 4 or 5 sets of Identicals back in the 80's/90's. This was our anthem..ROCK IT FOR US NELSON!!!!!

I loved this song! And I’m 70. Video was fine - very 80s-90s. In my opinion, though, the cheesiest video EVER is Jim Steinman’s Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through. I absolutely love the song, but the video is 😵‍💫🤮 Really,

I loved Nelson - the whole After the Rain album was great. The video is a bit bleh. They released a lot more albums on their own after getting shafted by the record company. They're also the nephews of Mark Harmon. His sister Kristen was their mother. Their sister is Tracy Nelson. I can find After the Rain on you Tube - not sure if it's ok to post a link here and it may work for you if you're still interested. Matthew is the one not reading the mag lol.

Even though I was a big hair metal and thrash metal fan back in the day, I was also a closet Nelson fan. I really liked this song. The video is very much a product of the 90's.

Most cringiest video???? Wow, so many sucked! Probably Halloween - Helloween (Good Song though, and some good looking women). Mr Big - To Be With You? Now that's cringe! LMAO I don't know Firehouse or Firehose or something like that. Trixter, Grim Reaper, ....... I think I gave the Nelson album to some girl I was sexually involved with, but cannot recall. I know some will add Winger to the list, but honestly, those guys could play music. Headed for a Heartbreak is still a personal favorite. How about Limp Bizkit????? Lol

Lol man, I love the '80s/'90s kid references. The guy who directed the video made the band learn the song backwards to match up with his edits all because he wanted to have a dove flying backwards in the background. Nelson also gets a bad rap because of their obviously manufactured look and persona, but they were pretty good musicians and songwriters. They actually performed the end credit song in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure as "Power Tool" with Dweezil Zappa on lead guitar. THAT song (Two Heads Are Better Than One) is a jam too, and it's about...a threesome that a girl wanted to have with them xD.
