Thanks Bryan. I would like to know your thoughts on this vs Heroclix. I started playing Heroclix with Hypertime, but in recent times just don’t enjoy it anymore. My two nephews started playing this and they play a Star Wars mini game as well. They say there are more pieces, which makes for easier painting, but a lot more difficult to assemble.

I know it's a year after this comment. But I'm in the same boat as you. I have a box full of heroclix. I recently got into sw legion, wh40k, and lotr sbg. And I would like to get into this, but ehh this is an iffy for me until I see more reviews

Came here because the new X Men packs look gorgeus but I just can't afford another superhero minifigure game right now. Good to see how Heroclix was the gateway for a lot of us

I like Man of Steel, but I felt there were problems with it. It suffered from the "Iron Man 2 problem", where all the action happens at the end! Also, the way Supes handled Zodd. I rationalized to myself "I'll consider Zodd to be like Doomsday then I can reconcile how Supes handled the situation"- then Zodd was made to become Doomsday in the sequel... SMH. Supes character isn't one to resort to killing, perhaps to "not saving" (though that's usually Batman's domain). Not to mention I believe Mr. Kent couldn've been spared & Clark not revealed in that situation. Overall I like the film, but it could've been greater.

It does have a serious action ramp issue. Which honestly the action scenes aren’t my favorite part, it’s the emotion and score of the journey that I love. I think maybe the killing was early, but I actually like the direction Snyder was going for where he learned his code from that experience.
