Beau lowkey shovel-talking Essek is still my favourite. Can't believe she fully asked him 'are you married' while pointing at Caleb. We stan Empire siblings who help their siblings get laid.
Except only Beau gets laid in this scenario, I mean there's feelers for Caleb and Essek but the damage done to both of them is just too great for anything to come from it.
It's sad but Caleb is too broken to be allow himself happiness. Trent and the empire took the boy with a smile on his face, the gods in his heart, and mountains of potential, and they dashed him to pieces on the rocks. The guilt of killing his parents and dozens of other "traitors to the empire" is going to follow him until the day he dies.
@@deathbykonami5487 I vehemently disagree. He’s proven that he CAN find happiness. He’s become a teacher at the Academy, just like he had wanted to be when he was younger, and he is working hard to prevent the mistakes of the past from putting more children on the pyre. And he’s put the past behind him by destroying the T-dock despite knowing his plan COULD work. He’s not beyond saving or beyond happiness.
Liam and Marisha have made my favourite characters in each campaign, and they always have such a sweet bond no matter the relationship. Vaxleth is my all time fave CR romance, but Caleb and Beau's sibling-level back and forth was the best part of C2. They're so naturally funny and cute together :')
Two years ago I was introduced to Critical Role through the Legend of Vox Machina on Prime. I decided to watch Campaign 2 figuring I can let the TV show handle Campaign 1. I binged all 140 episodes in three months. I love the Mighty Nein. I recommend you do the same
The top table truly was the siblings table I love all the interactions between beau and caleb From downright disrespect at the begining with each of them doing shit that pisses the other one off to them caring deeply about one another and helping each other get laid
Tbh I think this is what’s missing for me with campaign 3, I need a deep Marisha and Liam relationship. And we’ve gotten bits, but no where near Caleb and Beau or Vax and Keyleth. I get them wanting to branch out but I miss them.
in brothels, mirrors are installed over the bed so the customer/worker can watch themselves. This is still apparently still common practice in brothels across the world today. Yes, brothels still exist. The inclusion of the mirror apparently additional stimulus or pleasure to some people, and as indicated Beau and Yasha might be that type of people. I honestly have no idea as I have like no sexual desire at all(I'm Ace) so Ill need someone else to confirm this fact. Just realized that many people do not know what ace means, Ace in this case Asexual
Yes sorry I did a bad job of explaining and didn't really take in to account the fact that some people would not pick up on the meaning. For some having mirrors would be a bit of extra variety seeing yourself in the act of having sex with someone else. Hence Beau being excited and Yasha refering back to it. Hope that helps.
@@sodawax3457 Also, some other uses such as “reflecting” on how far they’ve come since they first met. Seeing them together in the reflection just makes it hit even harder. Makes it feel real.
People can ship Shadowgast if they want to but they have to understand both parties mental states. Both Caleb and Essek are too damaged for a relationship: One was shattered to pieces by the empire and the other was shattered to pieces due to his own naivete and ambition (blindly following Ludinus and Vess and sparking a war between Xhorhas and the Empire that cost the lives of millions on both sides, and all to unlock the secrets of the Beacons of the Luxon).
@@sodawax3457 Clearly they haven’t. Because Caleb still found happiness regardless becoming a teacher just like he wanted to be as a child. And also, even if they weren’t able to remain together indefinitely, they still treasured what time they DID have. And that will never change as they still care deeply about each other.
@@deathbykonami5487 bro why are you coping so much? we DO know what happens years afterwards. caleb and essek stay together in a romantic relationship until caleb is too old, and even then i think matt even said that essek literally wouldn't mind staying together forever until caleb's death anyway.
