It’s incredible that this story arc is considered one of the most important events in Tal’dorie history if you read Matts book. I see why it’s beyond epic

Ironic that this story came about from Critters buying big dragon models for Matt. We technically did all this damage to Tal Dorei. Heck.

This getting animated is gonna be sweet.

Of all the HDYWTDT throughout every episode including the new season so far, so many epic moments and kills, none has felt quite as epic to me as Kerrick vs Raishan. I'm not sure what it is, but somehow it just feels greater than all the others.

This can easily take up 3 seasons of the Legend of Vox Machina and I am here for it.

They need to make a frickin' animated show already. I know royalties with Wizards of the Coast would be a rocky ride in getting a show published but like, CR has made them so much frickin' money if they just sponsored the show it would be an outrageous hit. Imagine having the Kraghammer arc to introduce us to the characters and the show, The Briarwood story arc to show us how dark and truly emotional the show can really get, the chroma conclave story arc to set up stakes and epic scale events, and then the vecna arc to finish it off. Each can be a season or something, and we can have bits and pieces of episodes establishing places like Vasselheim and Emon and character backstories. Every anime has a few episodes where nothing truly eventful happens but character development goes crazy. Im telling you, if Wizards was okay with it and they got the right animators and budget with Matthew Coleville doing some writing and directing, this show would be amazing

it is really a shame that the falling Islands of Draconia isint able to make it into the show, it had such a n inportance and it felt invincible and them hearing that the Islands had fallen, felt like a moment that was "holy shit this feels hopeless" and was amazing

My favorite moment from campaign 1 will forever be 9th level counterspell from Scanlan, but the Kevdak fight has without a doubt my favorite HDYWTDT, it was just so perfect and how it happened, the reaction of Travis and the group is priceless.

Don't think I've ever seen a video with no dislikes but this is indeed deserving.

Ugh this arc was so good. I can't wait for them to animate it for their Amazon series. You can tell Matt had such a blast DMing this arc.

I got through the rise part, and I'll be back for the fall part after I finish the campaign

I legit began crying when I first saw this. I was in total shock and was like what the fuck... My main ones were: The Chroma Conclave’s first attack Keyleth’s scry on the Fire Ashari The Fall of Draconia Finding Tiberius’s body Ripley’s Death by Vox Machina Scanlan’s Death with Grog’s “FIX HIM!” I was crying so hard and I’m unashamed to say that all of these moments hit me so hard.

I wanted Raishan to win so badly

This is how you kick off a new arc to a chapter, you kick the rug out from the players. Show them that while they are strong and powerful even famous heroes.... the old saying always applies. Sometimes something or someone stronger kicks over your sandcastle.
