Hello Everyone, Today, I am going to show u how to crochet this super easy Winter COWL. It's really easy and fun to make! Great for Beginners. Yarn I used: KING COLE COTSWOLD CHUNKY BROADWAY Have a great time crocheting
Claudetta!!! I cannot tell you how grateful I am of this video! I have successfully completed a beautiful cowl. I found crochet sooooo hard to get a grip on but this video has allowed me to complete a project from start to finish. I found once I got the hang of it the motion of the hook and yarn was so therapeutic to do! So grateful! So grateful! So grateful!
hola felicitaciones, muy lindo trabajo, afortunadamente aprendo mirando, ya que no hablo tu idioma, es facil de hacer, gracias por compartir, saludos desde ANTOFAGASTA CHILE
Thank you for this wonderful video! I have a rather large noggin and wondered how long and wide your cowl ended up being in centimeters or inches--I will probably need to make mine larger.
Is it normal for the starting row (where the slip knot is) to be uneven with the rest of the first row....please say yes lol. !! Is there a way to even that out or no? LOVE this tutorial!!
Claudetta Crochet - thank you for the reply. I just tried to follow your link but it come back with a note that there is not such website. I found a woolwarehouse.co.uk and they do deliver worldwide, and they had the yarn just not in the color you used. I’m still happy because they had the color you used in a previous tutorial of a hat! Thank you!
Hi I am relatively new to crochet and like this pattern. You say a 10 mm hook, I have this exact yarn and it says 6mm hook. I am confused. Dan you enlighten me please. I am in the UK
On the second round we don't join with slip stitch... But we skip the first chain to start the round... I hope this isn't a silly question ~do we skip the first chain every round?
I'm going to make this as a present for my Mum, did you only need to use 100g of yarn? I'm hoping to use this one - www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/cygnet-helter-skelter-chunky-waltzer-3022-100g Thank you!
While it's very kind and generous of you to demonstrate this beginner project, to point out that scissors will be needed (shocking!) and to disclose that this video is a "paid promotion". With all that, why not say how much yarn is required or give approximate dimensions? I see in the comments that you've been asked but left no reply. Does the yarn company not want you to disclose this in or is it more of a "I know something you don't know"?
Slow down the video: click on those three dots on top right hand of vid , click "playback speed" click on one of the speed options. Eazy peezy....I do it a LOT lolol
This pattern is lovely but you really need to work on your explanation as to how to start the second round. Treat me like an idiot please, I really wanted to make this as it seemed so beautifully simple but I just kept twisting the round and I didn’t want a twisted cowl. No matter how often or how closely I watched your demonstration or tried to follow your explanation of how to begin the second round it simply isn’t clear enough. I’m giving up now I’m afraid, I feel stupid because other people seem to be able to follow you but I’m afraid there’s something missing in the explanation for me, some assumption of knowledge on the part of the teacher, knowledge that I just don’t have. Your work is beautiful, I’m just sad I’m too daft to be able to recreate it without clearer instruction!
