How to crochet a flat circle using the single-crochet stitch? In this tutorial, I show you a beginner-friendly way to crochet a simple, flat circle. This flat circle crochet pattern is a perfect base for baskets, beanies, etc. I wouldn't recommend this project as a standalone project, but it is perfect to create the base of circular patterns. I have a question so when I'm doing my circle when I get the first six stitches done and start the next row the middle of my circle which is the beginning of the circle buckles and at the end of my project most of the time it's and I'm amigurumi my circle kind of comes to a point it's like my stitches in the middle in the very beginning Row don't leave any suggestions if this makes sense

So you’re saying that the first row sort of sticks out? I have found that if I push down on a flat service once or twice at the end of each row, it really helps it stay flat. Another way to work the initial row is to place 3 chains, then place 6 SC in the first CH st. You can continue the circle pattern from there like normal. That might be a different way to try it. If this isn’t what you meant, then please let me know and I will do my best to help you.

@@CrochetWithJulie yes it is what i meant . I will try pushing in hard surface as I've already tried the 3 chains and the 6 sc . Thank you for responding!
