Crochet Simple Scarf Written Pattern:
chain 15 loosely.
Row 1: 1 single crochet into 2nd chain from hook, 1 single crochet into each stitch across to the end, turn. (14 stitches)
Row 2: chain 1, 1 single crochet into same space as join, 1 single crochet into each stitch across, turn.
Repeat Row 2 as many times that is required to obtain the scarf length that you desire.
Tip: If your work starts looking more like a triangle rather than a rectangle then it means you have been missing on making the last stitch at the end of each row.
To Make up
Finish off; leaving 15cm of yarn to weave into the back of the last row of the scarf with the yarn needle to hide the yarn tail.
Tip: I usually cut the yarn the same length as the width of the scarf so that I can run the long thread right through all the stitches of the whole length of the scarf. This way you can be sure your end thread will never pop out when wearing your scarf whereas if you had a short thread there is the possibility it will pop out of your scarf over time.
Lay your scarf on a table and spray with water to flatten it out.
