Made 2 pairs of these- one for me, one for my mom. I have a couple mysterious things happen in mine despite the right stitch count, but it doesn't affect the overall look and usability, so I've let it slide. They look nice, easy to make, comfortable, exactly what I've been looking for for my purposes:)

I'm in the process of making these. Since I want them to be a bit longer to cover my toes (I've been having a problem with the seams of regular socks rubbing against the top of my toes and causing pain so I figured I'd try a toeless sock to prevent it), I have been trying them *on* to make sure they are the length I am wanting. I wear a size 8.5 wide (USA) and had to decrease the number of stitches in the last two rows, along with taking out approximately 6 HDCF for the right size and fit. (I thought I'd bought a fingerling yarn but it turned out to be a 4 worsted weight so had to use hook size 4.5cm. Lion Brand Mandala Ombre, color is *cool*/froid, 201cm (color #).

Have made a couple of pairs of these now and they are so comfortable! Thank you for a great pattern

Help! I don't get 40 stitches when making the second loop.....

What yarn are using? You just mention "using this one." They look super cute. I like using the recommended yarn so I know how to adapt for when trying other yarns.
