I love CrockPots. They're little basic kitchen robots. Just get a short extension cord, but yeah it should be longer. My CrockPot is the same brand. I have 3. One is small red, another is white, and a huge gray one. My nephew is always making his food on one.. He wore one out after a year of almost daily cooking with it- then got two more. One huge, and the other small, plus a rice cooker. He's a teen eats a lot, invites his friends over too. He taught his friends to use a crock pot and now they use them too. His friends do bring meats and veggies to cook up, because they love beef and potatoes made in a crockpot.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend these days :)
@@grumpywagon6227 Thanks for your video. Bought the 5 quart Crock Pot today at the local BIG LOTS. I'm surprised the outside base is very light. I don't even think it weighs a pound.
I love it.... I use to have 1.5 Q but after a few cooking, it crack. Using plastic liner (16 in a box) for slow cooker are expensive if you are using it often.... better buy a new for the ceramic pot would last longer than plastic liner 16+
Mine is black in shape oval in shape high and low only I paid a lot more than you did I get so frustrated sometimes finding out that that I buy the right thing
good unboxing video I think I will try one can't go wrong do less than 20 bucks. the kids on crock pots that I have had have always been loose the moisture accumulates on the inside of the li as you know and runs down to the sides and pools up, that's what seals the lid they are the best every house needs one I would do the same thing and cook while I was at work
As long as the extension cord exceeds the watts of the crock pot, it is safe to use. p.s. If you foil the lid, completely foil and make sure the bottom is smooth, you can kick that thing up 35 degrees for even faster cooking.
I have a 10 cup multi cooker and it does slow cook guess I don't need this but I was seeing the size since I was looking at the 2+ size one seeing which one to get for camping 😆
As for the lid, it is supposed to fit loosely, so that steam can escape. If it were tight, pressure would build up and either pop the top off, or if the top were locked down, would 'pressure cook' the meat, changing cooking time. Not what crock pots are for
