The sharks are so placid because they’re depressed in captivity and given up. I love Steve but I’m really sad he went to sea world

I was thinkin the same thing but I reckon this mightve been filmed before the documentary Blackfish and perhaps if everything had come to light back then he might not have gone.

I’m kinda glad that the association that he did have with them was just releasing the animal back to where she belongs.

Larger Sharks are notoriously difficult to keep alive in captivity. I think the record is 6 months. They need to stop trying. Stick with the ones that do if you must.

all these people putting all this effort in for the wellbeing of one shark, when a chinese man will probably have cut its fins off and thrown it back in the sea by now.

Yeah hi sometimes animals need to be rehabilitated or moved. They don't just do this for kicks. Yet another dumb ARA who doesn't understand how zoos and aquariums work.

Sea world everyone hates seaworld you not seen the documentary black fish killer whales dolphins and these huge sharks should not be held in captivity anyways I get why maybe some crocs an stuff need to be as they go in people’s gardens and stuff or maybe if there hurt an can’t live in the wild then yes keep them in captivity i never understood when I was younger but Steve Irwin was a great man an I get he’s not u no saying sea worlds a good place he’s just there helping to do a relise which is great

The shark got caught in netting so they brought it to sea world to get medical attention. Now it’s better so they’re releasing it :)

That is one larky tiger shark, If it were caught on a drum-line in Western Australia, it would be shot in the head until it died :( shame on our government for enforcing this!

Swimming freely , and already got a remora on her. What a load of bullshit. Couldn’t they use actual footage of her once released instead of some healthy shark.

Lol, it wont help people care more for sharks, It'll just give PETA more fodder about sea world and at the same time bitching about sharks..... So it's just a show pretty much.

'BEFORE SHE RUNS OUT OF OXYGEN' Lol, air has oxygen silly
@202cardline
@202cardline 5 лет назад
Sharks breathe through their gills, meaning they get their oxygen by processing the oxygen in water. They can't process the oxygen in the air.

Seaworld is so cruel from their sharks in captivity to killer whales etc.
@theangryholmesian4556
@theangryholmesian4556 2 года назад
1. They're ended most of their cetacean programs. 2. Most of the sharks in SeaWorld are rescues who are eventually released after being rehabilitated. 3. Shut up and go away PETA bot.

There shouldn't be nets and drum lines. It's the ocean. If you want to swim in it, you know the risk you're taking. Stop killing animals in their natural habitat because you want to swim in their home.

@theangryholmesian4556
@theangryholmesian4556 2 года назад
Sea World isn't all that bad. They do have some legitimate conservation/rescue/rehabiliation programs. This was almost a decade before Blackfish. Had he lived I have no doubt he would have crticized SeaWorld.

Sorry Steve but I'm of the opinion that Great Whites are the most dangerous shark in the world, not Bull sharks.
@rmartino631
@rmartino631 9 лет назад
The bull shark has more recorded attacks on humans than the great white tho the great white could be the most dangerous if it wanted to
@videogamehunter820
@videogamehunter820 9 лет назад
As far as I know, there are more attacks by Great Whites. But even if I'm wrong, there are fewer Great Whites than Bulls. It's an endangered species.
@rmartino631
@rmartino631 9 лет назад
Bullsharks tend to test bite more often then the great white.
@magnusflodberg6162

rmartino631 Bulls can also swim in freshwater. As far as I know they also tend to be more aggressive though that information is around 10 years old =)

They go in freshwater to lay their pups.
