At the time Greg was on tour with Bruce Springsteen and the Pete Seeger sessions band, who needed a banjo player. I remember in the interviews, it was mentioned that both Noam and Tony Trischka, who was on the show that day, had tried out for that gig also. They could not have gone wrong with any of those three, really.
