I like these as well, but make sure to keep my shoulders more neutral instead of protracted cause of past rotator cuff issues.

Carlos V +1; also feel more recruitment in the targeted muscle groups this way rather then anterior delt

Going to try these my next upper body day instead of standard curls. Thanks for sharing 👍

My biceps didnt start to grow again before i found out about biceps stretching or squeezing to stretch the facia. Its completely undervalued and is different than straight up training the biceps to failure.

You have some crazy forearms. You do a lot of wrist curls/reverse wrist curls?
@gato49
@gato49 7 лет назад
These and hammer curls hit the forearms
@turnippatrol4607
@turnippatrol4607 7 лет назад
Definitely - especially the brachioradialis. However, Jeff has enormous wrist flexors & extensors also which are quite rare to see

Thanks and no other direct work for the forearms...plenty of indirect work...everytime I use a db, bb, handle attachment, machine I'm gripping.

What do you think about high cable curls (as if you're doing front double bicep) VS what you're performing here (curls across the chest)? Ty in advance!

Jeff have you ever measured your forearms? Goal size right there

Hey jeff great advice!Are you doing both standard curls & hammers at the same session or are you performing only one of them on each session?
@Team3DMJ
@Team3DMJ 7 лет назад
My first upper day I do both, but on the second upper session of the week arms are optional. If I do arms for the second time I always do a standard curl, but the cross over is optional...depends on how taxed I am.

Curls don't work - just do pull-ups and rows! ;)

This must be true ... because Jason Blaha also said so. :)

LiftingForLife Your body knows when you curl and decides not to grow the bicep. When you row or dead, it knows it's a compound movement and will grow the bicep. It sciencing.

Team3DMJ Very impressive physique. I've looked around for videos about your split but I couldn't find them. Do you mostly run a Upper/Lower split where you cycle rep ranges like Alberto does?
