Sph= +1.50 -(+1.50working dist)=0.00 Cyl= +2.50-(+1.50working dist)=+1.00 Now final power={+0.00/+1.00×90°} Now changing cylinder power (+ to -) Given,{ +0.00/+1.00×90°} Now,{ +1.00/-1.00×180°} Final power to be prescribed: +1.00dsph/-1.00dcyl×180°
@@HashimKhan-bc7jc yes it is transposition. But this makes the Rx more complicated one.. always prescribe the simple one.. and rest depends on patient that which power he/she prefers or accepts during subjective refraction.
Very helpful vedio Sir..nicely explained👏👏 Sir if we are using tropac-p for dilation than in retinocopy finding how much tonus allowance will be deducted
Thank you Sir for ur reply 0.50D is deduction is given for homatropine ..the same is for Tropicamide +phenyephrine, can u pls tell me the reference for this
The value which is taken as sphere is to be subtracted from the remaining spherical value. Please don 't get confused by A-B and B-A. A & B are only for notation Now, (cylinder power = A-B) Here B is our spherical component of our prescription Cylinder=B-A Here A is our spherical component of our prescription The number that is being subtracted in both the example is our spherical component.
Sir vertical meridian neutralaized with working distance , horizontal meridian +1.00 DS ×180 then cyclo allowance 0.50 , so the power is -0.50DS / +0.50DC × 180*
