Thank you for this video!!! I'm new and I still have to work on judging how big the finished piece will be. I'm a visual person for sure lol So I have a pattern that I finished that I thought was going to be bigger than it was and I would like to make a bigger version! So thank you

So if my patter is 167W x 283H on 32 count over 2 threads. To enlarge the pattern I would use 32 count over 4 threads is that correct

Thanks so much for your help funny enough it was my daughter that wanted to learn to X stitch the owl was my 1st project now she asked me for one of my project for her So my old project size Project Size10.4" x 17.7" on 32cnt (over 2) My new project size Project size 20.8” x 35. 4” on 32cnt (over 4) The material would be 24 X 39 giving me 3” border all around. My project will be Lavender & Lace Angel Of Hope

I looked that pattern up, it’s pretty! I did a couple of angel patterns from them (Christmas angel of freedom and angel of light) way back when in high school when I first started cross stitching 😄

How to do you handle half and quarter stitches?

For a quarter stitch I would just do one of the four stitches in a big square instead of all four for a whole stitch. For half stitches I would do two stitches across the big square. I hope that makes sense!
