www.baatraining.com Most of us have seen videos with an aircraft landing and taking off in a high crosswind. But what is happening during such operations in the cockpit?
In this video two volunteer pilots will try to explain and show how to perform crosswind take-off and landing in 90 degree 38 knots crosswind without turbulence. In previous episodes they showed you how to do a visual circuit with an Airbus A320, so today they will use same techniques. Let's see how Roman and Dovydas can deal with it. This is the first video out of three.
www.baatraining.com BAA Training Aviation Academy is European standard aviation training center, where the experience of tailored training solutions is wrapped in the personal care.
BAA Training headquarters is in Lithuania and counts more than 20 years of experience in aviation training, while its heritage reaches 1938 - the establishment of the Lithuanian airlines training department. In addition to training base in headquters it is able to offer training solutions in various Europe, CIS and Asia locations.

Why isn't the flap setting 3 for landing since the crosswind exceeds 10 knots ?

Nikias Lianos flaps 3 are not mandatory with any wind.
