FYI...the schnitzel king here. Panko is great, but wholewheat breadcrumbs and oven baked is not only healthier, but a lot more tasty (add a bit of smoked paprika to the breadcrumbs, some crushed garlic to the egg wash, thank me later). Also, make sure to salt flour, eggwash and crumbs with an equal (small) ammount :)

Call me crazy but I just really don't like the way whole wheat bread tastes. And it's a scientific fact that nothing baked can be tastier than fried. (better for you sure, but better enough to justify? eh... that's subjective I suppose) Agree with everything else you said though. ;)

Tethmes you got a point, but it's precisely the taste that I love about wholewheat breascrumbs...oh well, it's subjective...btw, adding a bit of canola oil to the baking tray makes them more crispy.

I've been making this for years but not with this coleslaw so will give it a try. I can't recommend this enough to you all, it's dead easy and tastes so much better than any crap you will get at a fast food dump.

So easy! Fantastic healthy recipe of schnitzel the preparation method is the same as French paillard revenue. Interesting and different I liked! In the sauce will add a bit of cabbage sliced thin and a good spoonful of French antique mustard and honey. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your recipe with us!
