So the reason he said he's hypocritical after killing Clementine is because before the fight he said he wouldn't hate her or something because he might do something similar under some circumstances and that hating her for killing those people would make him hypocritical.

Have you noticed that Clementine seem to love going for the eyes? - In her fight against Momon, she stabbed him in the eye at least three times... - She stabbed at least one soldier in the eye in a previous episode... - Ninya's body was missing an eye...

Sad that Clementine was a short lived villain, I absolutely love her voice. It fits so well.

Yeh Clementines death is *amazing* it regularly makes lists for the most satisfying/brutal/epic villain deaths in anime A few short hand, spoiler free, lite explanations: 1. Ainz said he'd be a hypocrite if he got angry with Clementine for her killing the Swords. So his "I forgot to tell you. I'm very hypocritical." was a way of saying "yeah, even though I didn't show it I was pissed and this was pure vengeance for their deaths." A very *human* moment, despite his undead nature. 2. Yes! you can absolutely watch end credit scenes, they're small little addons and shouldn't spoil anything. 3. I can't answer the Shalltear stuff obvi since that's next epi and story stuff xD

What I love about Overlord is how they portray an OP character properly, especially one entering an unknown world. He uses caution and uses what is in his opinion weaker magic to kill. Only one spell that I know of so far that was tenth tier, grasp heart. There may have one or two others but he is still cautious of this world.

Nabe wasn't tired she was just getting frustrated that she wasn't allowed to fight at full force, then Ains gave her permission, and the smile. Hamusuke had only seen the warrior Momon so the scream of monster was due to Hamusuke"s first sight of Ains. Ains has to cure Nphirea"s blindness otherwise Momon's victory would not be complete. Now you know why we wanted you to see the after credit scene, your reaction to Albedo's message is a gem.

The best part, Clementine's body disappeared, there is a chance someone took her body and revived her.

Close with the Gem. ~Yea it's pretty much being used as a battery of negative battery ~Graveyards generate negative energy due to the concentration of corpses, it's why their prone to creating undead (why there's walls around the graveyard) ~Not shown in the Anime is the Gem is actually sentient and can talk to it's holders mind ~Ainz gives the Gem to Hamski who keeps it in her mouth where it annoys her from time to time, Ainz kinda forgets about it Regarding Ainz's fight ~Ainz is not a warrior and has no combat 'skills' ~He's learning melee combat technique and strategy off her through observation ~Also gathering more intel about Martial arts. Finally regarding Khajiit (the necromancer Nabe kills) ~In the light novel we get his backstory ~He discovered his mothers corpse after died of a blood clot ~Initial goal was to try get the power and skill to resurrect his mother ~Gave into despair and lost his way when discovered his mother would disintegrate if resurrected as too weak.

This episode was BRUTAL! Now i can't wait for episode 12 which is EPIC!

This reminds me there is a Overlord game where you play as Clementine .The plot seems to take place after her body was taken back to Nazarik. And for some reason she has amnesia .

He basically wanted to use those adventurers as test subjects he was planing on training them to se how strong the poeple of the new world can get

I hope everyone notices this, but just in case some didn't, I always liked the totally brutal detail that Clementine breaks her own teeth by biting Ains in a moment of total despair, just struggling for her life.

Just a heads up, I know you like to only do "two episodes per week" but even when this was originally airing, it treated episodes 12 and 13 as one episode. YES, it's "split" but they aired back to back if you want to fudge a little next week

Hi, friend. ¿Isn't this one of the best chapters? As always I will explain some things using information from the novels. First in Nabe confrontation: Khajiit by himself must be around level 20 or 21, but since he has that "Death Jewel", which has been feeding life energy for 6 years, he can do very impressive magic for the people of the New World. At first he seems like he has the upper hand, but he could never win. Narberal Gamma is a Level 63 Battle Maid and we haven't even seen everything she's capable of until now. The thing is that Ainz forbade her to use magical attacks that exceed the Third Tier while they were traveling undercover and she played the character of "Nabe, the companion of the hero Momon". That is why at first she has to fight so hard. But we do have some clues to this, such as the fact that she can take a hit from a Dragon or hit it with sheer physical force. As a magician she should be physically weak, in fact, she would be…if it wasn't for the overwhelming difference in levels. This is why she is extremely irritated throughout the fight and gets so offended when Khajiit suggests that she "surrender to him". When Ainz gives her permission to use her full power, Narberal ends the battle with a single spell, Chained Dragon Lightning. This type of magic usually works by hitting one target and then jumping directly to another, like a domino effect. It is a spell of the seventh tier of magic that in the New World no human can do by himself and is considered almost divine. That is why Khajiit at first believes that Narberal is delusional. A fun twist is that Narberal's insults towards Kajhit are a series of smaller and smaller animals: In the Novel she starts by calling him tick, then red beetle, then caterpillar, planaria (a flatworm), and finally... mere human. An interesting detail is that, in the Dungeons & Dragons game, skeleton-type monsters are resistant to slashing attacks, but vulnerable to blunt blows, such as those from a hammer. Overlord follows that same logic and that is why Nabe puts his sword in the scabbard before fighting the dragon, because he knows that the edge will not do him any good and he prefers to use his weapon as a baseball bat. Now Ainz's showdown: Clementine doesn't know it, but Ainz is taking advantage of her confrontation to learn new things. And it is that one of his main doubts is whether it is possible to become stronger than he already is. Because in the Ygdrassil game level 100 was the maximum and it was not possible to progress beyond that. Ainz wants access to more sources of strength and so he is experimenting with physical techniques, watching what Clementine does and playing with her to see what kind of abilities it is possible to acquire as a Warrior. When Ainz catches Clementine, she is not too scared at first because Liches are powerful mages, but they are not physically strong and believes that she will be able to break free with a little effort. To be fair, normally this would be true, but since Ainz is level 100, his physical strength is terrifyingly monstrous for a person from the New World. If Clementine was level 60, then the principle of not being able to overcome her physically would be fulfilled. Unfortunately for Clementine, she is barely Level 31. In the New World she is a real power to be reckoned with, but in Nazarick there are many who exceed that level. Clementine only realizes the difference between the two when she can't get rid of on the first try and then Ainz confirms it by telling her that it wasn't even necessary to use magic to defeat her. In short, his confrontation with Clementine was not a fight but a sadistic game. While Ainz is squeezing Clementine, plates of her armor begin to fall off. They are the plates of the adventurers of "The Swords of Darkness" that were not fully fixed because Clementine had just acquired them. It is an artistic way that the author has to tell us “¡Revenge!”. Before the fight, Ainz said that he did not blame Clementine for killing the adventurers because perhaps he would have done the same if the situation required it. It was a way of saying, "It's not personal, it's just business." Bottom line: "I'm not killing you because you pissed me off, but because you ruined days of work I spent impressing those kids so they could advertise me." And then he added: Blaming you for killing them would be very hypocritical of me. But right at the end, before Clementine died, Ainz pointed out to her that she had taken her time torturing Ninya before and now he wanted to do the same. And when he finally broke her spine, he added, "I forgot to mention that I'm a big hypocrite." At that moment he is confessing that all this "was very personal" and that he had really grown attached to the adventurers, especially Ninya. The Crown of Wisdom is an original New World item that must not be removed once worn or the wearer will go insane. That's why Ainz has to destroy it in order to save Nfirea without losing his sanity. Then in the post-credits scene it is revealed to us that, while Ainz was doing all this, things were happening with other NPCs from Nazarick. Wonder what the 'Inhuman' Lady Clementine would have thought about fighting a Magic Caster posing as a Swordsman who happened to be undead? Granted even Khajit might not know how dangerous Ainz is even if he would have had a full body view. After all even Clementine had mistaken Ainz's species however it was "Close enough". Well it would've been funny to have Ainz summon a skeletal dragon and have a dragon on dragon kaiju battle but that would just cause even more mayhem.

to say Khajit is powerless without the jewel it not quite correct, he in fact, is quite powerful for a human he and Clementine were part of an elite squad in the Theocracy, like the ones Ainz fought with Stronoff in episode 4 for a mere human, they both are easily in the top 1% but they are not the strongest humans! there are some real beasts out there! (if I am wrong about any of this please call me out on it, as i only remembered most of this from youtube videos, didnt read novel)

Funny thing about that brutal death. That's the toned down version, in the novels it was much worse.

hero class in the new world is around level 35 but ains is level 100 so ... yeah a hero is gonna get bodied easily

Yeah Ainz has big stats as a warrior but his actual skills as a warrior is quite poor atleast in comparison to when he is a magic caster
