I also have been wanting to see this. Since getting sober I've been packing on weight and going to grow out of them soon if I don't see this tutorial soon or slow down on the junk food lmao😂

This is a great idea. With my crust pants I just cut open the inner thigh seam from the ankle to crotch to other ankle. Then I sewed them over an existing pair of "donor pants". I then hide the new seams/cuts with patches to "camouflage" what I did. If I ever need to resize another pair of pants I will make a tutorial but that is pretty much the gist of it. If you are looking for ideas. I think it would be rad to see you just work on things based on the project. Less general items and more specific projects. would allow you to make things while not having to worry about have "done it before". similar to how the craft community does individual projects.

This type of personal clothing customization would be good for everyone to do. I live in rural area so all I have is Walmart so I’ll definitely do my own denim jacket and hoodie this year in my own style. Thanks for the great video!

You can buy empty links but you have to acquire the right shells to put in them. I have a friend that makes MG 42 bullet belts this way bowmanarms.com/belts/

Honestly I just thrift wherever I can. Consistency is key though, there is always something hiding. FYI military surplus stores are great resources, as well as fb marketplace and Craigslist 🦖

Reptil, if you're still out there, I have a question. A few months ago I got a leather jacket from a second-hand shop. But when I put my hand in, I accidentally tore the lining (it was rather thin) near the opening. Got any videos on how to fix it? I was thinking of hot-glue and scrap fabric but I want to have your opinion first. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately hot glue will not hold but you can do the same method with fabric glue. I'd pull the sleeve inside out to expose the liner, cut a piece of scrap fabric to fit over the hole, apply fabric glue to the scrap, place the scrap over the hole, then set something heavy on top of it for 24 hours while the glue dries. You could alternatively hand sew the scrap piece of fabric in, depending on how thick the liner is it should hold. The fabric glue method would be easier and no one will know the difference 😂

not relevant to the vid, but can you use other gloss paint brands (not the one you used in your first pants vid) for turning pants into "leather" like you did?

As long as it is gloss black acrylic, the brand is not important
