My first Pokemon game ever was Gold. Spent so much time playing it as a kid on the bus to and from school. Never been interested in rom hacks until yours! Been having a lot of fun playing! You and your team are awesome!

So the switch, Dark physical/ghost special is brilliant. I have been playing this for about 3 weeks and it’s an absolute blast and a fantastic challenge. But. Was the A.i. aware of what was special and physical? I have a lot of trainers that will use Light screen after I use bite, and I’m guessing it thinks it’s still the other way. Not sure if my assumption is correct

I was a bit turned off by your reaction to the comment about "is it possible...?" but actually I think I understand. I think the big issue is people just want an easy button for everything and don't take a second to read like you said. Honestly I'd just ignore questions like that. Anyways, good job on all your hard work. The content is enjoyable 👌

So I watched the whole thing (with brakes) during work. Love the work you have done and I will play it once you have completed everything (I don’t have that much free time unfortunately) Today you really triggered my misophonia with the sound you make before speak. Dude, you've got to do this for yellow, gimmi a gen 1 game like this. My suggestion would be to expand the map beyond kanto. Johto late game. And Oak final boss ofcourse.

Don't really know how easy that would be to implement, but if it isn't to big a hassle if it would be possible to add a Nuzlocke mode with access to infinite rare candy's or a way to get them, to make exp grinding obsolete. It would be massivly appreciated. Otherwise been loving the romhack so far!

Instead of the mom, the professors aide should be the one to update the player on the changes. I would say the school, but it's optional and could absolutely be missed. Also the professors aides are right in the beginning, just like mom.

Most people count eggs where they hatch, limiting how many you can hatch and gives you encounters where none exist. Love the vids. The way you say Spearow and Fearow drive me nuts. 😂 SpEErow and FEErow. Not sparrow and Pharoah. Lol. Wanna try one of your ROM hacks one of these days. Keep up the good work. 🎉

Is the level cap something you have to self enforce or is it coded into the mod? I’m a big fan of mods that straight up prevent you from over leveling.

It's coded. I just finished the johto elite 4 and that was hard because the pokemon capped to wills highest so I was still 6 levels under Lance

Its totally understandable for him to get annoyed at the same old questions, especially when it seems like his rom is made for more advanced players. I also love playing Legacy Crystal as a long time fan of Pokemon but a total competitive noob

I havent downloaded or started playing yet but thank you again for this rom hack. Looks amazing and you can just feel the amount of time and love that went into it. I dont know how you deal with people in chat asking the same 5 questions every 10 minutes when they can just listen or read the documentation. Theres a reason school grades are down and it comes right down to not being able to pay attention or having no desire to do any work on your own. Watching this stream it is flat out goofy how often people type the same 3 questions in chat - so do I need to trade Haunter to get Gengar? Blah blah blah I think you showed a lot of patience all things considered. You aren't entitled to be treated like a king just because youre in someones stream. Do your homework or shut up.

for those wanting to run it on hardware an ezflash omega drive can run it with the simple kernel and you save in game and then hit restart in the emulator DO NOT HIT EXIT it will wipe your save but restart and then shutting off the gameboy works

May i suggest adding a npc or something like that that gives you 99 rare candies each time you talk to them. As i tried the cheat code and it messed up my bag.

This is a complete guess, but I feel like you could probably also use a cheat to make the rare candy be in the comp or mart. Someone will probably correct me if I’m wrong, that’s how the internet works.

I don't like CoD and Fortnite. I'm not into the Minecraft community beyond my small collection of mods (Life in the moods). My main genres are Military, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Historical Fantasy, and Tycoon genres with Skyrim, Pokemon, Destiny, OpenRCT2, Advance Wars, and Titanfall 2 being my main series of games I play or watch streams/replays of. Nor surprising at all I only know Smith through his pokemon channel.
