This is my review of CTCmath after using it for one year with 4 of my children.
I paid for the program myself, and these are my honest thoughts about the program, as well as a look into how it works, features of the program, and some lessons in action.

Still using this curriculum and loving it! One of my children does not do very well with online. She has been able to move back to Ctcmath because from prealgebra up, there are printable worksheets. She's been doing 2 lessons a day, getting perfect scores because of this! I'm very pleased and will be adding another 18 month subscription soon. I can't believe we've been using this for 3 years!

Update! My 2 kids not using it have decided to use it again! I'm excited to see how they excel and even work ahead!

Thanks for sharing! I am in the researching part of homeschooling my children. Possibly in the fall.

You're so welcome! ❤️ It's a challenging but super rewarding calling. I'm hoping to do more homeschooling videos, but I need to get my thoughts organized!

This will be my 2nd yr homeschooling. I just found out about this program while I was searching a mastery program because my kids DID NOT do well w/ the spiral approach of Masterbooks. Are the printable worksheets for higher grades required work, or extra practice?

For most subjects, the printable sheets are an alternate way to work out the answers if the child prefers pencil and paper to sitting in front of the computer. They're multiple choice and then the child enters the answers to check their work. For high school Geometry, all the work is done on paper and needs to be checked by the parent, I believe. My oldest will be using this for Geometry and this is what I've observed so far looking over it. I will have 3 kids using it this year and we still really like it. I like the kids having years away from it to have practice with pencil and paper, but it's such a great program that we've had a continual subscription for several years now.

You can sign up for a 2 week trial and look through all the subjects and take the tutorials to see if it's something that will work for your family.

How would you compare this against Khan Academy?

I haven't use Khan, so I can't compare side by side. I really love the weekly updates emailed to me and the organization of each topic. My oldest is having some trouble with the mastery aspect again, so I'm praying about what to do to help her succeed for high school.
