Answering the many questions pertaining to my Cub. Music, Terrier Waltz, copyright free music. Remember, every time someone subscribes and rings that little bell icon, another student pilot will get their wings. 😎
Extremely informative. Keep it coming. I'm dreaming of a clipped wing pa 11 with naca2013 wings and a Franklin sport But a plain Jane j3 would be pure contintment.
Hi Ron, you are right my friend, she is a cool, fun toy that makes me grin like a mule eating briars every time I fly her. Everyone should have a Cub. Thanks for watching. Dwain
Not to argue the point haha, but because I'm curious re:wing spars. I know that the advantage of the aluminum spars is some suffered from dry rot and water damage. What's the advantage in your eyes? Thanks! Beautiful plane!
Did you ever find some new higher compression pistons to your satisfaction? Anything you don't like about Wag-Aero kits? Looking at one, a replica of an L-4 Grasshopper
Hi happysawfish, as it turns out, pistons for an 0235-C1B engine are hard to come by and when you do find them they are usually only in a lot of one or two and I have been quoted prices from $375.00 to $450.00 each. I am still looking though. Anyone with four new 9 to 1 compression standard size pistons for sale let me know. 🙂 The Wag Aero kits are superb for what they are, but be aware that they are not complete kits down to the last nut and bolt like some other kits such as the Carbon Cub experimental. That being said, if you are a gear head like us you won't have any trouble with the building of that L-4. Good luck my friend.
Hi Richard, I am reasonably certain that what we see falling was a sign from heaven letting us know that another student pilot had just received their wings. 😎 Thanks a lot for watching. Dwain
