I feel like the cheerios should have been Honey Nut Cheerios the regular ones are bland. If you must do plain flavor then you should add sliced banana in the bowl it’s a game changer with the cereal and milk.

He’s turning into a true American. The more the sugar, the better! 😂

You need to add sugar to Cheerios, Raisin Bran and Rice Krispies. Try sliced strawberries or bananas in the Frosted Flakes. That is a game changer.

I love what you guys are doing. For over 40 years, I've had many friends from communist countries. (Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Russia and Cuba) All of their stories were the same, much as Yoel describes. The world needs to know the truth, and you two are bringing the truth to the world. You know that you need to take the rest of that box of Rice Krispies, and make Rice Krispies Treats out of them, right? You can even do the classic Treats vs the Peanut Butter Treats vs the Chocolate Treats. It might even make a cool video.

An unspoken American rule was to add teaspoon(s) of sugar if the cereal didn't have sweetness. Like with Raisin Bran, Plain Corn Flakes, Cherrios and Rice Crispy cereal. That's how we were taught when we were little; when we ate the Adult cereals that were sugarless. (Of course it's unhealthy but necessary to swallow down bland stuff.) Bran cereals are not delicious and can taste sometimes like cardboard; but we were taught of their health benefits so I use to eat Raisin Bran alot as a kid. It keeps you regular. We never got chocolate cereals when I was a kid. If I ever did it was as Adult that I bought that Halloween Special cereal for myself "Count Chocula".

We need a part 2 to this! Gotta have Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, Frosted Mini Wheats, Honey Nut Cheerios, Trix, Apple Jacks, Pops, Raisin Bran Crunch, Cookie Crisp, Life Cinnamon. That’s a whole nother video right there! Keep them coming :)

I had 3 favorite cereals...Corn Pops, Sugar Smacks, and Frosted Mini Wheats. I ate them straight from the box! I'd have a glass of milk to drink. 😆

I've never in my life had plain Cheerios or a Rice Krispies plain... always add sugar or banana or berries or chocolate chips.... the appeal of those cereals is being able to control the sugar amount.

When I was a kid, my hands down favorite was Corn Pops. As far as chocolate cereals go, I prefer Cocoa Pebbles and Cocoa Krispies to Cocoa Puffs. Some trivia: the word “cereal” comes from the Roman goddess Ceres, who was the goddess of fertility, agriculture, and grain crops.

I grew up eating all of these. They are all good. Raisin brand has always been one of my favs. Cheerios with a bit of sugar or banana (sliced), Rice Krispies with sugar also are good. You should try other cereals like POPS, AppleJacks, fruity pebbles, Honeynut Cheerios.

I think Yoel might like a couple of my all time favorite cereals..Corn Pops and Honey Comb.. they are just sweet enough. He might also like my Mami's(QEPD) favorite.. Golden Crisp(Sugar Bear).. really good and sweet. Sending love and hugs to you both!❤️

It didnt surprise me you liked the more sugary ones the best. Your low scores on Raisin Bran surprised me a little. For a lower sugar cereal, it is pretty good. The low score for Cocoa Puffs didnt shock me, either.

On all cereals that aren't pre-sweetened, I always drizzle a little honey, instead of sugar, to give the cereal a better taste. This goes for Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran, Rice Crispies, Shredded Wheat, all the Chex cereals (Wheat, Rice and Corn) and a few others I've probably forgotten over the years.

Nice!! Ok, my favs are Raisin Bran, Cheerios, and Corn Chex. I like to add a little sugar, fresh fruit (strawberries or bananas) cut on it and added along with the milk! A piece of fresh toast with butter will round out the experience! I am very surprised he was able to limit it to only 10!! A good breakfast is a great way to start a day!!

I don’t eat a lot of cereal anymore and when I do, it’s Cheerios with fruit or Frosted Mini Wheats. But growing up, my favorites were Golden Grahams, Lucky Charms, and Cap’n Crunch-in that order. I’ll still buy them for a treat sometimes, but not for breakfast. And Cap’n Crunch will tear up the roof of your mouth!

I would never, ever eat Cheerios, Rice Crispies, or Raisin Bran unless I added sugar! Nearly all breakfast cereals are meant to be sweet, so if they don’t come already sweetened, you add sugar. My favorite cereal is either Cap’n Crunch Peanut Butter cereal or Kelloggs Corn Pops. Love your videos! ❤️

With Rice Krispies put a spoon or two of sugar in it

Try Special K with Strawberries- my two favorite cereals as a kid were: Fruit Loops & Lucky Charms. And, bu the way, I am also a proud Cuban from Santa Clara!

Use the Rice Krispies and turn them into rice Krispy treats. Just melt some butter, and add in mini marshmallows. Stir it around and then add the rice cereal. Pour the mixture into a square pan and flatten them down. then cut into squares. Enjoy 😉

LOL. Yoel has the tastebuds of a young child. How wonderful to get to try things for the first time. Cheerios are good once you get used to them, but I always used to cover them in sugar. I bet he would have liked them then.

It’s very INTERESTING for me to watch Yoel see & try all these American things he’s never seen or tried before & I’m so happy for him being here in the USA. He also opened my eyes too, that we are so lucky in the USA to have all these things. Sad for the people in Cuba that they don’t see this. My parents are from Fiji, so some parts of the island doesn’t have much either, and my husbands family is from Cambodia. Similar kind of situation. Yoel and I have the same cereal taste. I always had to put sliced banana or sugar for some additional sweetness when I'd have Cheerios, Raisin Bran or Rice Crispies. Crunch Berries is my favorite that you tried, but I think Fruity Pebbles is my all-time favorite...close call with Honeycomb.

When I was growing up I would normally sprinkle my Cheerios with sugar to give it more of a sweet taste. Personally, I prefer Honey Nut Cheerios because it is sweetened. Anyway, I’m kinda surprised what cereals did and didn’t make the top 10 list. When I was a kid I really liked Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles, Golden Grahams, Franken Berry, Apple Jacks, and anything with a peanut butter flavor. I think Yoel would really like Reese’s Puffs cause I think I heard him say before on one or two of your videos that he likes peanut butter.

There's so many more for him to try too. Frosted mini-wheats....grape nuts....banana nut crunch....strawberry corn flakes.....and the list goes on. I think it would be interesting to see him try the different hot cereals now. The different flavor grits, the different flavor oatmeal, and cream of wheat. I'm from the south. So, you know we're all about our grits here.

For plain cereals you can add sugar. I get the honey nut cheerios. Plain is usually giving to toddlers as finger food.

For me the best ones growing up as a kid was TRIX and Golden Grahams , but there were so many others also that we ate :)

When I was a kid growing up in the 80s my granpa would dump out a couple boxes of Captain Crunch and my sister grandpa and I would pick out all of the crunch berries. Years later they came out with Oops all Berries when I was an adult and I was like "what is this sorcery!!??" And I buy them for my kids because its nostalgic to me, the taste and smell of those berries reminds me of growing up and picking them out. My favorite cereal however is Golden Grahams and Pop's.

For many of the cereals try adding fruit, bananas, or berries of any kind, it will add to the cereals.
