Just a note here. There is nothing to do in jail for many inmates. Entertainment is taken where it can be found. I've been locked up in a number of jails over the years. I've spent a few years in prison. Believe me when I tell you that prisoners can't wait to have someone infamous get sentenced to Their jail or prison! I live where there are a lot of Middle Eastern and Asian immigrants, and their women don't change their names when they marry. It's not a women's equality thing (there often isn't any in their countries), it's that their name is about family and nationality and that's important to them and stays with them. Also, a lot of Asian women married to white men say they don't want a "white last name." For me, it is an equality of treatment issue; why should she change her last name? She didn't come from his parents and family history and ethnic background; she came from hers. The children can have his last name because they're half of him but she's not half of him. The children can also have both last names. They do that in some countries.

I don’t think they ever had the chance given they were “on the run” so to say, so I think they are referring to her as her legal name. Also even after taking your marriage certificate back to the court house you have to go to SS office to get name changed, maybe she didn’t do that?? Idk.

Thank you - the dumb commentator said Lori's brother Alex was 'mysteriously shot dead', he was not! Alex shot Lori's husband Charles dead last summer, and a few months later murdered her kids Tylee and JJ on her instructions. Alex was the family hitman. Soon after, he died in mysterious circumstances which were supposedly natural causes but now look very suspicious!

Actually, no one knows for certain if Alex shot Lori-lies' hubby or not. She could have been the one to pull the trigger, and then had her brother lie and say he did it. We also have no idea who actually murdered the two children. It could have been Alex, or it could actually have been Lori-lies. Or a combination of both. People are assuming it was Alex on all three counts, (yes he SAID he shot Charles, but was he lying to cover for Lori-lies?). It could be he was just the clean-up man and that she murdered them all.

Casey got off because the state of Florid had put the death sentence on the ballot. The jury members wanted a smoking gun if they sent a young woman to death. The obvious circumstantial was not enough for their pea brains. That is why she got off. Had the death penalty not been in their vision, they would have sent her to prison for likely 20 years or longer. That is the sad scoop. Will be different with Lori. No one feels sorry for her.

People in prison aren't allowed Internet so people in jail probably can't have it either. Prisoners in cells often have a small TV, but there are prisoners in big dormitories. I've heard the ones in the California men's prisons have triple bunk beds.

Prior to that, Alex tasered one of her previous husbands. So he has form, and is clearly capable of extreme violence. Alex has been described as 'the family hit man', and it's reasonable to assume he killed the children, but that may never be conclusively proved. Cell phone data - as I'm sure you know - suggests he collected each child from their (mother's) home and took them to the site owned by Chad Daybell, where they were buried. So he was at least central in aiding and abetting JJ and Tylee's murders. Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell will point the finger at Alex. And as he conveniently died late last year, he can't point the finger back. There may be no way of establishing beyond a reasonable doubt who actually killed JJ and Tylee, but in terms of justice it likely doesn't matter. Because Lori and Chad will be nailed for conspiracy to murder, and never see the light of day again. The honeymoon for those newlyweds was damn short - that's what comes of plotting and enabling the murders of innocent people. Karma is real.
