Justin Coffman it definitely won’t. The problem with the Casey Anthony case, is that the prosecution could not without doubt, prove how little Caylee died. We all know that Casey murdered her....don’t we? Or, did she die after being drugged to sleep? And Casey panicked? The prosecution threw the DP onto the table and they didn’t have any forensic evidence to put Casey even as the person who wrapped the duct tape around her face. The wet conditions that Caylee was found in had degraded any and all DNA that would have been saved on the tape. This case is different. JJ was wrapped up and buried, so preserved the evidence. By wrapping a body, you also inhibit decomposition, which is valuable to prosecutors. Btw...I believe Casey Anthony to be 100% guilty. But, legally, the prosecution had little to actually prove Casey was even there when Caylee died. That’s true.

@@1whocs486 not true. It's the prosecution's fault for over charging her. They knew going into the trial they couldn't explain "how" Caylee died. You have to prove intent for 1st degree murder. If you can't explain how, then you can't prove intent. Period. The jury was following the law.

It's only "mind blowing" if you don't have an understanding of the law. It makes perfect sense to those who do.

Jurors -- people just like you and me -- made the call. Don't blame the lawyer for doing his job, blame the half-educated, gullible public. They think with their emotions rather than their brains, and Baez played them like a fiddle.

HJNTX the prosecution couldn’t prove how she died. And, they went for the DP. If you can’t absolutely pinpoint cause of death, you leave reasonable doubt for some. Personally, I would have at least found her guilty of second degree, AT LEAST. But, when you throw the DP out there and you have, particularly men, on the jury of a young mother....it makes it tougher to get a conviction. The prosecution could not prove that Caylee didn’t drown and Casey panicked, and dumped her body. It’s incredibly frustrating, but that the truth.

Apparently, they were given misinformation on what exactly was required to give a guilty verdict. A few of jurors said that in interviews after the fact. They knew she was guilty but thought that circumstantial evidence wasn’t good enough. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yea but chad definitely helped dispose the body. I think alex shot tylee at the farm (that’s why chad specifically said he shot a raccoon incase his neighbors asked why there was a gun shot heard) and chad helped dismembered Her body and burned. It takes apparently takes about 40 hours to burn a body they got inpatient and just buried her body in the pet cemetery. I think JJ was killed at alex’s house and chad had the hole dug and they sloppily just covered his body.

I think chad used Alex to get loti to himself. He had Alex kill everyone and then the only person that was close to her that was still alive was Alex. Soooo it was Alex’s turn to go!

Alot of the cases where someone was convicted and sentenced to prison were at times when forensic evidence was just beginning. Back in the 80s and before. They didn't have DNA testing nor a finger print data base to use. Forensic pathology was sometimes performed by an assistant to the medical examiner, and many mistakes were made. . Detectives would rely on witness statements and the statement of the person being questioned in the crime. Also there are just corrupt detectives. It's pretty rare but it does happen. Sad to say.

DA went for 1st degree murder. Jury couldn't deliver as per law, no time or manner of death, jurors said prosecution could not meet the premeditation requirement. Very sad but it's American law 😢

I’m with ya. No case has had me this upset since Chris Watts. The way these people dispose of their babies is unfathomable and pure evil.

First, the are narcissistic idiots that think they are smarter and better than everyone else. So they had thought that they would cremate Tylee between 9 am and noon so they would be done when Chad's wife Tammy just might come home for lunch. But being idiots they didn't realize it would take at least 24 hours of continuous burning to destroy a body sufficiently. So after two hours of trying to just burn her limbs (see Chad's text referencing limb debris) they knew it would not work. So they just buried the rest of her. When they murdered JJ a few weeks later they knew burning does not work and so they just shrouded him in plastic and duct tape.

I don’t think fingerprints are needed at this point. There’s a trail from both of these men to these babies’ bodies. All they need now is a cause of death, MAYBE confessions, but I highly doubt that. I’m interested to see if they’ll turn on each other now ....

I think she gave Caylee sleeping pills and then taped her mouth so that she couldn't be heard screaming while she was in the trunk of the "Princess Casey$" car. Then she went into the new boyfriends house and forgot about her daughter. A party girl, I think she got stoned with the boyfriend. I also believe she was relieved of her responsibility of having a child that she didn't want in the first place. Hence, she partied hardy got a tattoo and ran off for a month, before showing up at her parents house and her mom then called the police to say that her granddaughter was missing. Why did she go back to mommy? Casey is out of money and friends to stay with and no car. So to get money, she went home expecting mommy, to hand her cash so she could survive until she ran out of that. She was totally being supported by her parents since she got pregnate with Caylee and before. Casey proved she had no morals or sense of anything, but herself. For all her life! Mother spoiled her with anything she wanted, but when baby came around, Casey was not her parents main focus anymore, Caylee was! This caused her to become a real con, to act out like the immature children who were never taught responsibilities or work ethic. Who think of themselves as entitled. I too thought she would have gotten the death penalty. Oops, it was an accident! BS!!! No, she was tired of her over indulged child, who didn't want to leave the security of grandma and poppa, and most likely screamed and showed her dislike of being with her self absorbed mother. Further, I don't think it was a accident. I think she murdered her daughter because she had no coping skills and a baby who is angry at her mother, is a terror to be around especially when men are arround. I think Casey was tired of it and way too immature to be a mom. She wanted out! She didn't want Caylee around anymore.
