It’s gotta be. Static straps don’t rebound like that. You reach the end of it with that speed and it’s like hitting a brick wall. The energy stored in the rebound is what keeps the tow vehicle in one piece, “bounces” the semi out, in this case, keeps all the soda on its shelf, and prevents the driver of the tow vehicle from relocating dental work. Anyone with significant off road experience can look at that strap in action and know it’s kinetic. Plus, if it wasn’t kinetic, there would be plenty of keyboard warrior “expert” comments about how your never supposed to shock load a static strap unless you want to maim someone or destroy your rig. It may have not been advertised as a kinetic strap, but it’s as elastic as my underwear waistband. 😉
My father yanked a loaded logging truck and trailer out of a ditch with his 06 Cummins Ram. I pulled him out with it when he was stuck with a dump truck loaded with slate, buried in a driveway. Didn't think it could, but if that thing can get a bite it pulls whatever is behind it lol
@@rooreeves whos that lol. Yes I do watch his channel but I've known yankum ropes before I found his channel. I have like 5 other channels that use yankum ropes.
if that was a coca-cola truck, you'd have a semi load of coca-cola parked in your driveway the next day as a thanks for saving them the $1000+ tow bill (and that is just for the wrecker to show up). pepsi doesn't thank anyone, they think the world owes them something.
@@chef9524 personal experience. a friend of mine owns a convenience store and pepsi came in and DEMANDED to have 18 shelves, she told them to leave and she would never do business with them again. then coke came in and GIVE her a NEW 3 door cooler, coke also paid to update her old walk-in cooler, they put in a fountain machine, and tons of other perks.
Where is the BOL saying it was "fully" loaded. And the tractor might of been stuck but as soon as it moved a few inches the tractor is doing most of the work
Tractor was in a rut by doing the back and forth crap therefore digging a hole The dodge with the strap that stretched that you are supposed to use in times like this is what did it. It got him onto more stable ground for him to get traction. The tractor was useless. Don’t talk about sh*t you don’t know about hand.
@@YeeeeeHaaaaa so the tractor wasn't in gear or push on the fuel at all with it was out of the rut? Or while it was in the rut? Didnt know you drove tractor trailers for a living, my bad
it's not like it did it "because" it's a cummins. that's what 7,000 lbs? that's a helluva lot of force when you give it a good yank like that. Even still it wouldn't not have done a damn thing if the semi wasn't also accelerating. put the Semi in Neutral and you ain't going anywhere with that limited traction....put any other truck in the same class with 4wd and it'll go the same way.
I agree the pepsi truck did 99% of the work after a good yank eve if the yank was from a yugo of course the Pepsi trucks acceleration is going to recover.
Ok. So. Incorrect title. Cummins pulls loaded semi out of field... As a guy from the UK, I thought it meant A guy named cummins pulled a loaded semi pistol out of the grass. What it actually meant was The pickup truck named cummins pulls a lorry out of a field.. clickbait
Well, it’s not incorrect just because you don’t understand. Everyone else in the comments did. Cummins is rams Diesel engine. a semi is what we call semi truck. Or you have all the other names. But, no the title told the truth and nothing was click bait. You just didn’t understand it. It’s simple don’t blame others for your own doing.
Hello, is it OK to feature your clip in a my chanel for educational purposes (so-called temporary copyright.)? You can stop me from using your content at any time and it will be deleted immediately. It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name. Thanks, MM
@@fakejaeber5291 good for you, I see this guy in comments all the time. He has over 1 million subscribers and has never made any original content, he takes other people’s videos, puts them in compilations then makes all the money off them. I bet he never did message you lol.
@@mef12727 yes, if he has permission and credits the creator he’s legal to use it in a compilation video. If he was using it for a parody or commentary video he wouldn’t need permission because that’s considered “fair use” as transformative content, but just using another creators video, unedited in a compilation requires that users permission, link/credit included or not. In order for fair use to apply the content must be “transformative” in nature, I.E. if you’d take this video here without permission and do a commentary on your opinion on pickups helping out truckers, how the trucker should have been chained up, etc. you’d be covered if you credit this channel, but if you were to just repost this in a compilation you’d have to have permission or you’d be stealing it.
I try to let people know this when I see these big compilation channels asking for permission because 90% of them say “yes, go ahead” and they never gain a single view or sub from giving their content away while the person who took their video and with zero effort reposted it makes thousands off the work of others.
@russians is7 tractor and trailer especially since its a day cab empty weigh is probably 28ish. Thats if the tanks are full. And thats probably high. I know with my tractor an hopper im 29 full.
