That is so freakn cool. I love how the back was stretched... seems like that is how it should have come. Also dig fold down windshield, massive wheel tire, oil burning power, the paint and the fact that nobody else has one. Being a stick shift ... makes it even better.

Nothing more rad than a Cummins powered TANK Most people don't realize originally the Cummins/Dodge setup was... Cummins set the Motor, Frame and Suspension parameters; Dodge did the rest the First Gens (12v) were built like tanks by civilian standards.

I've been thinking about this build, Shawn, and I think it is a powerful homage to all the servicemen and women of that era, plus all the California industrial might back then. And I like that it is larger than life, as was the service and sacrifice of that generation.

Blasphemy that anyone would call that a “Jeep”! It looks nothing like a Jeep. As a “car guy” it bothers me that there are folks that don’t have a discerning eye for detail. I have a 1955 Willys CJ5 and I also have a 1952 Dodge M37. Let me tell ya, the M37 would eat the Willys Jeep. The Jeep is so incredibly small compared to the M37. They also look nothing alike. Likewise, a Carryall PW looks nothing like an MB or a CJ2A/3A or 3B! At any rate, this is an incredible Power Wagon build and it’s giving me ideas….I’ve been thinking about repowering the M37 and swapping out the old axles for something newer with better brakes. Finding tires that I like is a huge pain for the old Budd wheels…..and I’m not fond of running tubes either. The old straight 6 is so underpowered too. With my Willys I can handle running the old Hurricane since it has an OD hooked up to the transfer case….makes it so I can get it past 45 without much hassle. The M37 can’t even get out of its own way. I understand that it was never intended to get 65 but this is 2023 and I’d like to drive it down the highway. It’s too bitchin’ to leave parked in the garage when I’d rather be driving it places that require highway driving.
