I rarely watch cnn. I’ve seen a few of Chris Cuomo’s segment and I have to say he seems like a pretty sharp guy asking the right questions. He does a good job bringing the heat down on the guests, and cornering them into sounding stupid lol.
Chris 710 again, his past has zero to do with the fact of the matter of what was brought forth in this interview. It doesn’t change the objective content of the material. It’s like saying “E” suddenly does not equal “mc2” because Einstein is discovered to have been a nazi officer. It has nothing to do with gullibility, and more to do with the fact that your attempt at a deflection is poor.

This is great. I predicted 2 years ago that the Russians will have infiltrated not only Trump with Kompromat, but the NRA, right-wing religious groups and FOX news. You will see. Of course they did, I would've. If you're Putin look at it this way... You go full tilt with the side that Kompromat will be most effective with (liberals are far less concerned with sexual scandals, as the hypocrisy angle is considerably reduced, among other factors such as money). You also go for the side that inherently trust the government less (Small government anyone? Ruby Ridge? Timothy McVeigh? The Bundy Ranchers?) and is less able to identify/admit to internal corruption due to blinding tribalism. They are also _overwhelmingly_ more likely to be armed (NRA), making any mass confrontation likely to lead to violent/terrorist retaliation. Putin sees that the US is not unlike Russia in that almost all elected officials are corrupted to some degree, on both sides, but unlike Russia, where information is controlled, in the US, it isn't. So for example, the left can be encouraged to be disgusted by the DNC's corruption, these voters lack the same level of tribalism, but are often unrealistically idealistic. So now you have one side, almost wholly corrupted, the side that is prone to irrational and violent confrontation, are armed to the teeth and frequently reject authority, facts and logic, against the other side. The liberals, who are tired of being manipulated and lied to by their own "leaders", who are unable to be pragmatic due to their "purest" mentality, and who _also_ don't trust the people who, in _this_ one case, are actually on their side... the DoJ, FBI, CIA, NSA and military. The enemies of the Russian government. I hate it, but it's a beautiful plan. I don't see any way the US will come out of this without significant damage. I hope I'm wrong though.
