Curd Rice
1)Hot rice (prepared from 2 cups of raw rice) - 10 to 12 cups
2)Ginger chopped - 35 to 40 gm
3)Green Chilli chopped -35 to 40 gm
4) Coriander chopped - 1cup
5) Salt - to taste
6) Fresh curd - 2 ½ to 3 cup
7) Milk - ½ cup
Seasoning ingredients
1) gingelly oil / oil - ¼ cup
2) Red chilli - 8 to 10
3) Black gram dal - 1 ½ tbsp
4) Mustard - 1tbsp
5) curry leaves - Plenty
For decoration
1) Shredded pomegranate - 1 No
2) Grated carrot - 1 No
Preparation
1) To the hot rice add ginger, green chilli & coriander and mix well.
2) Cool to room temperature & add curd mixed with the salt and stir well add milk also.
3) Season with the ingredients & spread on top.
4) Decorate with pomegranate & carrot and coriander leaves
5) Cool for 1 to 2 hrs in the fridge and serve.
