Why not ban it instead, a boardbreaker that can not be interacted with, isnt healthy at any point in time. Maybe if Super Poly would require to use atleast 1 material from your own field, the card would be fine
@@zurajanaisephirothda3886 Because if we banned all the "cannot be responded to" boardbreakers going first in this meta would be functionally a free win
@@zurajanaisephirothda3886 yeah sure, ban super poly, then forbidden droplet, then dark ruler no more and so on. let's let anyone who starts first win cause they have 3 negates on board
@@shawnjavery No, that's Prosperity. You shouldn't be allowed to dig six cards deep into your deck when there's already so many fucking searchers. Plus Extravagance already exists. Desires has enough draw backs for it not to be that big of a deal. I don't have any problem with it beyond "its a +1"
@@four-en-tee yeah exactly, as good as desires is it has downsides in most decks. Occasionally you’ll banish both or all three of the remaining copies of a card you need
Amazing, I cannot deal with the ishizu version but tearas are so fun and unique, also I love how in the TCG people always start with the ocg, handtrap heavy versions of decks then remember there is no Maxxc and just play the most combo heavy version they can think of lol
I'm guessing 2 bigfoot is because the reveal effect isn't once per turn so drawing multiple isn't terrible and you also don't want to banish all of them with desires or gizmek since its second effect can be really clutch
This is the Junksplayground list and i can safely say that any ratio here has a great reasoning that is either tied to game theory, math or multiple hours of intense testing
I don’t hate Tearelement cause it’s broken (though it is), but with 40min matches the idea of my opponent using 30 of those to resolve the most convoluted chains on my turn sounds so tedious and frustrating.
I mean the deck is good sure, but not tier 0 broken busted omega pwner deck. It’s top placement at euros was second place, losing to rikka/plant link thanks to mystic mine. Mystic mine is a card I would call broken. OCG nationals had 17 tear tops and 18 sprights, and that was WITH ishizu and DWB support. Tears are moreso just the flavor of the meta, like sprights. Eventually they’ll rotate out just like “broken” branded fusion and “broken” brave DPE before it. In my opinion at least, tier 0 e-ban worthy stuff is broken, and the tier 1 meta game is a step below that, Yugioh has advanced so far forward into power creep at this point that it’s kinda unfair to consider stuff broken just because it’s meta. I also think the term broken is better used for single cards, like the aforementioned MM, or something like sea angel, a completely free link 1 that searches the best card in marincess and sets up the graveyard, allowing your normal summon to get hand trapped and literally not matter at all.
I have to say I like how this deck summons like 10 entirely different boss monsters! Most other decks don't come close to that versatility, like that's just neat in and of itself. Not that the deck will never deserve a ban lol.
This video I think is actually the first discussion about this build of tear I've seen on RU-vid to this extent. There are a lot of deck lists from euro but not much else
Still waiting for the actual synchro summoning fish! (edit: inspiring ghoti is Probably the coelacanth build, Probably the great Evolution of synchro summoning fish)
Just wanna tell ya. The act of performance even if you know the result is A GREAT ABILITY. It's stuff like that that makes replays really entertaining.
Personally I play Ghoti Myutant because their both banish decks that play level 8 to not only interrupt your opponent but to covers the minus that the low level Myutant cost so not only dose it make the low level Myutant plus more but they also give quick syncros
"how can they draw 2 handtrap + full combo every time" well, if you make a deck where half of it it's a one card full combo and the other half a 2 card full combo with any of the other level twos, you know, you found space for a couple of handtrap
Kaleidoheart could've been special summoned back from the grave when it was tributed by nibiru's effect at 8:35 would've sent another tear to keep extending the plays.
Once again TCG players prove that fairy tail snow turbo, is in fact just the best win condition after mystic mine. Did with branded, now with tear, for some reason the OCG can't figure this out. Also Trif's version with spright and punk smashed in is way better but he didn't make it to Euros.
Ghoti seem so cool, but they have nothing that’s super synergistic with them :( I’ve seen people splashing them into Myutants but that’s mostly as banish fodder
Can you explain a bit what would be your take on mathmech? I have seens tons of list and different takes. I'm curious on how you would go about it. Also, when would you play decodetalker heatsoul? I've seen it in many lists, I'm just new to the game in general and can't seem to it be a better t1 play than IP/Wicckid route or just a better t2 play in general than what the deck can do.
I never thought I’d be so excited to see someone activate Snow four times in a game. Glad that got immortalized on RU-vid. Now that there’s nothing that will ever outclass that, please ban Snow
why didnt you chain the 2nd redoer effect to the gamma? i know he had a 2nd gamma so it wouldn't matter in the long run but it felt like the play in the first game
tbh the name is a misnomer; curious simply comes up when you open a mass amount of dangers/get interrupted a little more/have more knowledge of hand etc. if you go into zerob you can get punished, etc. full combo has zerob after curious but just never seemed optimal as snow already in gy + all tears used
I have a question: I summon kitkallos and send sulliek to graveyard to get a search, then by the end of the turn I summon hot red abyss and knightmare gryphon to set said sulliek. When my opponent start the turn with DRNM, can I flip my sulliek and chain hot red to it to negate DRNM or do I have to control a tearlament monster?
Might be the best TMT of all time. Amazing showcase of the deck's abilities, crazy back and forth games, and totally crapping on the OCG's Spright format.
Dangers turn every Dark deck they get their filthy hand on into a gamble deck. It doesn't help that Tears are designed to be a high roller "strategy" to begin with. These kinds of decks are great for screwing with friends, but I really don't think something like this being good has postitive implications for competitions.
