You sold me. I realized I was taking hair advice from women who like the more defined, wet look. I would rather have it soft & just something for frizz. Embracing my own curl pattern & not trying to force my hair into unnatural curl
Awww, your baby girl is super sweet. She loves being in videos with you, love that. My best friend growing up was Mexican and her mom always told me to sleep in braids at night. She said it made your hair grow much longer, faster. :)
@@CastledarkDweller27 squeeze the water out of your hair after washing then comb it out, lean your head over and with an old t shirt or some very absorbent pater towels, scrunch the hair. Like put the hair in the shirt or towel and squeeze over and over. It sucks the water out without disrupting and adding to the natural curl pattern.
Love the product recommendations so much! If you want to kick up your hair care a notch, one of the first things I learned in cosmetology school was to never use a brush on wet hair...Always a comb. You said it yourself sister, wet hair is the most vulnerable, so a brush can cause a lot of damage & split ends. Ya gorgeous, sister! Thanks for the great content as always. ☺️

I have long straight hair that’s shiny and healthy and I also use the Pacifica products. I love the rosemary mint, it smells sooooo good and I wish I could use it everyday but I also only use it once, maybe twice a week. I like the coconut line and they did away with the kale line which was awesome (super bummed).
OH MY GOODNESS! hun if my hair NATURALLY had those PERFECT LONG GLOSSY LOOSE RINGLET WAVES UNDERNEATH like that, i would never do anythinggggg to it. just wash condition air/towel dry with that long tailed pink thingy, then THATS IT. It is the most amazing beautiful hair! i know ive said this 6000 times b4 but Kiki, you really are a LUCKY LUCKY DUCKY!

My hair is very similar, and I never use heat or dye on my hair. With the nicer weather, I’ve been washing my hair outdoors, or in the kitchen sink since about 6 months now, and notice the difference. I don’t specifically use cold water but you’ve definitely confirmed that that makes a difference. My hair is shoulder length and I love being able to wear if natural. I know girls/ woman who spend more than 1 hour every day on their hair and I know that I could never do that, I much rather simple and natural. I don’t think that I’ll grow it too long again, I think a little shorter just above the shoulders is better with my longer face. I was checking out Pacifica face products, but may just try the shampoo, etc, first. Great video. Your daughter is adorable.
I air dry my wavy hair the same way but I never thought to braid it to sleep in, definitely going to try it! Also going to pick up the Pacifica hair care. I have used their skincare for years and love it.
Thanks for sharing products first I’ve heard of this brand . I’m trying a few different shampoos & conditioners for my wavy hair . And I’m trying the coconut hair & body spray . Your daughter is adorable. I do this on my hair & my Grandaughters. Also I recently found out the connection between people who have had Covid & hair loss that follows . I’ve lost more hair than normal , I thought at first it was my diet change but we were vaccinated in May & June with Pfizer then august got Covid . Noticed hair loss in November a month before I went plant based . At first I told my doctor I was sure it was related to my thyroid that I take meds for . He did labs & my thyroid was fine . But he shared with me that tons of patients experience hair loss 2-3 months after a Covid illness . I’m certainly not taking any boosters . We did get Regeneron 9 days after getting Covid . I hate that we even took the Pfizer vaccines now as we got Covid anyway and I’m really funny about these vaccines & not sure about them . Thought I’d share what my doctor told me about the hair loss . I was worried about my b vitamins too since I went plant based . He told me to quit taking b12 because mine was very high . I’m only about 6 weeks in on my lifestyle change and your such an inspiration to me ! I truly mean that ! I follow and share you on other social media platforms with my followers & friends . Your so down to earth & your easy to listen too and you get straight to things instead of talking forever like a lot of creators do ! Your volume could still be louder, I enjoyed the video though....I have super long hair and wear it in a twisted top knot to get it wavy in the morning, because my hair is on the finer side i let it air dry all the way first so it isn't super curly, my hair looks so thick now👍
This is great advice Kiki. I always struggled with curly hair and found the curls to be uneven as well (curlier underneath). But your hair is more beautiful! The nighttime advice with the braids is worth trying. How do you handle your braids/hair when you exercise? Does it put you back to square one?
