Dupe that BK beauty concealer with the Real Techniques #421 Soft Accent brush and save yourself a lot of money. Also got a Real Techniques brush in a holiday kit in 2022 that dupes the It blush brush perfectly.
I love your videos ❤ they are so honest❤and yes the brushes are the key to makeup. A brush can make or break a makeup application. If you have not tried the Sonja G you must try one of the eyeshadow brushes. Very pricey but they are game changing. They are artist brushes . So easy to use and you will find you do not use as much makeup to get the look you want ❤❤❤
I totally agree with all of your fragrance fails! I haven't tried Vanilla Sex yet but Ginger Biscuit, Apple Love, and all the Zara vanilla fragrances were SO disappointing. I blind bought Supreme Vanilla after seeing people rave about it on Tiktok and the ink note had me gagging (parking garage is right). I just tried Zara Sensual Vanilla and it was nice! Nothing special but way better than these original four. - Britta

First off - that shirt is 🔥🔥🔥I need. I want. Second of all - your hair looks great! Such an amazing style. Now I will quit commenting on your appearance. I was SO excited to get the Apple Love sample and it just smelled so cheap to me, and also, somehow, musty and mature? I am a huge fan of the Aqua Allegoria line from Guerlain. They have some exquisite, natural, fruity/floral/herbal fragrances. My personal favorite for the summer is Flora Salvaggia. It's very similar to JM Wild Bluebell, if you're into that!
The CG Cheekers blushes suck! The non-shimmer blushes are just as bad as the shimmer ones so don't even go there. BK beauty brushes are over-hyped imo. Sigma are so much better!
3CE and Romand and the only brands I trust for lip tint and matte lipsticks that are comfortable and blurring. Korean just know what they're doing when it comes to these formulas.
I like the Revlon baby pink blush. I'd never buy it, but my mom did and I couldn't believe it. It was better than the Chanel I splurged on (I hated the Chanel blush and their les beiges water tin, blah. what a waste of money).
I just watched this video along with your nude blush video during chemotherapy today, we have a similar fair to light coloring, I do have a more neutral undertone. My very sensitive, dry skin has been out of control with increased dryness and redness. I appreciate all of the work you have put into these videos.

Aren’t the LM powder blushes fab? My favs are Ginger and Chai. I keep trying other blushes but I go back to those over and over again. Sometimes the OG is the best for a reason ✨

Hear me out regarding Tom Ford Vanilla Sex! I, too, was expecting this to be a sexy (possible musk, etc) scent and was *extremely* underwhelmed with the scent. Then, I heard another YT creator point out that "vanilla sex" is what you refer lackluster sext to, and NOW IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE! Side note, I still don't care for it 😂
Woooooo ? Maybe in the US your ginger biscuit is totally different because I have been wearing this (Jo malone perfume) all winter and it’s EXCACTLY like our ginger snap we get in the UK. So it must be a culture thing.
OKAY - I have exclusively used the NYX lip liner in mauve for, like, ten years. It is the perfect color for my lips (my natural lips are a little more pigmented, so it’s unbelievably natural-looking for me.) I’ve silently loved this for years as it helps define my lips, and has been especially essential after sustaining an orofacial injury that resulted in some lip scarring. Side note: don’t get on a skateboard with a super heavy backpack… Anyway, I got irrationally excited by your NYX lip liner shoutout as it’s a product that’s given me so much confidence and is so integral to my daily makeup routine!
Hi! I am very late at commenting this video. Just wanted to note for your vanilla fragrance video (I love vanilla) something other influencer mentioned, that Tom Ford’s caption “Vanilla Sex” might not be about vanilla at all. If you coin the term “vanilla sex” than that is is most likely being, in a lack of a better explanation, “boring sex” and if so his wording might be accurate.😊
I was on the hunt for a fruity floral and tested out the Ellis Brooklyn Apple Love in store. Let me tell you, after only an hour or so of having it on it turned into a sharp cough medicine scent with my body chemistry and it was NOT the vibe at all.
Do you have a recommendation for another ginger vanilla scent? I actually love Ginger Biscuit but couldn’t justify the price / size of it. But want a ginger scent now that GB is OOS for the season 😭

Omg the Tom Ford opening is a HARD PASS. It’s the pungent smell of playdough mixed with melting plastic and crac! smoke🤣. And not the good homemade playdough your Mama made either !! It gets better on me as the day goes on but I’d never ever buy it. Smells like a dollar tree dupe. Glad I sampled this one !
Hi Kate, I am not sure about your fragrance preferences. Nonetheless I am giving you a suggestion here to further your Vanille fragrance search. I do not like sweet fragrances so most of the vanilla scents are out for me but I found one vanilla fragrance that is not sweet. You have to like tobacco and rum in order to appreciate it: Vanille Havane from the Les Indemodables. Acc to "Fragrantica": With an emphasis not on the one-dimensional confectionary sweetness many vanilla fragrances highlight but rather on the authentic vanilla bean’s dark richness, Vanille Havane becomes Lie’s interpretation of vanilla as an intoxicating fragrance with facets of rum, dried fruits, cocoa, cigar, and dark florals that reverberate on an ambery leather base.. It can lean a bit masculine according to some opinions but I wear it and I like it. It is boozy and warm and the vanilla is dark and smooth. Great dry down and it is a beast mode of a scent. Not everyone enjoys this type of fragrance so i will not be offended if you do not :)
I enjoyed Apple Love, but that might be because I was looking for a daily, easy to wear sweet/fresh fragrance. I don’t always like my fragrances to challenge me. I think the apple makes it a little unique because it’s not a super commonly used note, but still crowd pleasing. I like how it dries down to a clean sweet shampoo type scent. And mine lasted days on my clothes. I’ve also noticed with Ellis Brooklyn their fragrances get better performance after they have sat for a while. My older bottles last longer and project more.
The BK brushes are wonderful and that concealer brush is next on my list. I had bought the Lancome Meil Glace blush a couple of years ago and it is such a disappointment for me. Everyone raved about it but I have the same issues as you. On the other hand I have 5 of the Clinique pop blushes which I have loved for years. I think you’ll love bk brushes! I have a couple and intend to get more! And matte blushes are the only ones I’ll use. I bought hint of mauve in bare minerals line and while I love the color; I have to be so careful Bc of the shimmer
so funny that u mention nyx mauve! i haven’t bought liner in maybe 10 years but found that one in my stash and started using it and loved it!! then i thought i should try other lip liners and couldn’t find another that worked as well because they were all too warm peach or too gray. i’ll have to try the sephora one you mentioned too
I bought the Lanolips overnight lip mask after seeing you discuss it on your IG stories, and I LOVE it! It has that thick balm feel that the old Bite mask did. I apply it over the FitGlow night serum, and I have had zero dry lip issues since getting it. 🙌 Also…..I was looking at the Nature Republic honey melting balms on Amazon, and I noticed in the photos, there are two shades I’ve never seen before (11 and 12), and they both look really interesting. One is a really pale pink, and the other is a grey that goes on like a cool lavender pink. Just thought I’d check and see if you knew about them. But I can’t find them to purchase anywhere! 😬 Maybe they’re just really new? Loved the reviews & your honesty! Thanks, Kate 💓

Oh, I’ve got to try the Guerlain Bosca Vanilla! After trying Taunt by Dedcool, I am loving the combo of bergamot and vanilla, but Taunt is just so soft and short lived. Guerlain is on the try list! Also, LOVE the sparkly shirt!
"Makes me look like I'm about to shit my pants" made me laugh! After seeing your reviews I just ordered some Prequel for the first time but didn't order the vit C because I never see any results from vit C products and they just irritate my skin, but now I kinda regret not ordering Prequel's. Oh, and I actually like Zara Vanilla Vibration for the drydown, which is delightful. It's the only Zara perfume I own because I'm mostly a niche snob.
I don’t see “results” from vitamin c products either, but I use them as a preventative measure to help protect from oxidative stressors that cause collagen breakdown
