I've built a few bikes over the years and this is the first bike I sort of documented. I plan on posting videos on current projects. Hopefully you enjoy the journey. Thanks! Instagram: mitchwitkamp
Hello Mitch, I ride a K100 Custom myself but your bike is a totally different dimension. A great design, cool features and superbly made. I have the utmost respect for you.
WOW great creation. fenomenal craftsmanship , design, welding, finished clean up. Beatiful bije. relly loike the modern / retro cyber pucnk vibe of the bike. Amazing . great job. respect,
Sir your metal work is F-ing amazing I’m only half way through your video I had to stop and tell you just wow you have a very creative mind very impressed
My hats off to you.... I've loved moto design since I was a kid... I'm 54 now and wished I would have learned fabrication much earlier in my life... I have many moto and scooter designs I'd love to build... God Bless You. Keep the builds going!!!
I saw you guys at the Austin, TX Hand Built show, and I was blown away by this bike! The time, dedication and effort put into this build really shows thru. Great job!
@@mitchwitkamp2451 thank you very much. I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I appreciate you letting the art/ engineering do all the talking. You have an amazing level of artistic vision and engineering talent. You also have a massive amount of patience to do all that hand shaping. Looking forward to more vids. Cheers
I have couple of bikes I want to build, I’ll probably start building out a super moto next. I have a few builds from the past that I plan on making little videos on.
Watched it twice...subscribed....your workmanship is inspiring! fantastic job.... Im also doing a similar lighting setup with my current S4R and XV750 rear light setups through frosted perspex.
I would have tried going for equal length headers and maybe used a finer grit sandpaper for the brushed effect, but apart from that, probably one fo the most gorgeous work i've ever seen. Not your usual cafe racer. The design and style choices you made are just perfect, everthing just flows.
I appreciate the comments. I had a similar thought when I was making the headers. This is why the last header is wrapper twice around the #1 cylinder to try and gain extra length.
Unbelievable build. Maybe the best one I've ever seen. I just don't like the BMW custom logo on the exhaust and on the fuel cap coz i found them redundant but nonetheless it's stunning. Thanks for sharing.
@@mitchwitkamp2451 I am form Germany and i looked at ProBolt/UK. Only a few nuts and bolts (only unsprung mass) for my Suzuki are €500. That stuff is quite expensive.
There is a book for all these parts such as the rear suspension and seat stays etc. Look up Retro rides by Lourenco who designed and built all this and sell the plans in the book
