+Maxmaj1q I'm trying to find a good exhaust system any suggestions I want to sound just like yours does , do I need ported heads to get them at sound ?
I've been around a lot of cars in my days. This sounds excellent! The cam, the throatiness (if that's even a word). Favorite part was when you told your son "cover your ears next time." Your teaching the next generation of car guys and God Bless You for that! I'm an old 70's muscle car guy that came across a 2000GTP for a steal. Anything other than a V8 always seemed worthless to me. After trolling your channel you made me want to try and do my first ever GM V6. Never to late to try something new, even at 47.
This is so sick man. I had an 01 GTP back in high school and in college. I loved it, 3800 supercharged all stock…so quick and zippy and got you where you wanted to be. Now that I’m older, I want to build one like this from the ground up with my son, and it can be his baby when he’s old enough…❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Michigan boys can do it too i got a long way of modding to go but this guy makes it look easy...i need to find an enthusiast close to the yak.... i gotta get my 💰 up first ..
Easily the best gtp or 3800 I've ever heard. I ran my impala with just stock manifolds and a cat less 3in downpipe if only she was camd then, stupid loud. This thing tho, it sounds ready to stomp some ass.
my grand prix sounds similar Sept the cam. I have mufflers that look like yours as Well don't know brand just bought a blown one and took all mods off of it what cam lift\duration do you have
Yoo i have a 96 bonneville non s/c but planning on adding a s/c which exhaust setup is that your running and also, can you make a similar cam for a 96 3800 or is it the same through to your gen ? if you can you've got my $
very nice work, sounds good looks good an im sure goes good, i have a 3.8 in my old lesabre with some older parts that warmed it up, its a long term project ive had for years an am going to probly make a track car for the weekends, no rocketship lol just a reliable weekend toy.
hey man i love your videos i have a racecar with this same motor non supercharged what would you say is the most cost friendly way of making it sound similar to this .
Oh I see, Thats pretty cool! I am going to try and do a setup where I can put my actual radiator there instead of way back in the engine bay where it currently sits. I personally think it would be one of a kind and would be awesome! Maybe even gain some engine bay space/cooling advantages. I plan to hopefully finish it by next summer and upload some videos about it.
how do you get that sound? I just found you're channel I love your car man, I have a 98 pace car that I'm trying to get a lot like this please hmu man, if not for me for the pace car
