Literally watched this like a dozen times…explained beyond anyone else with techniques shown you usually only learn with hands on experience with a seasoned veteran, like the hammer in the arm pit while I tack weld
What grinding wheel were you using on the electric 4" grinder? It looked like it may have had holes in it,. Im looking for a longer lasting disk that dosnt build as much heat in the panel.
Is there a reason you didn't address the rust on the inside before you put on the firewall? Just curious... I'm planning on doing something like this to my 72.
Where can i buy a firewall like this? i am setting a blown 496 in my 65 C10 & i need to set the engine back an inch but i cant find a firewall that will work, can i buy one from Hammer Fab?
