I designed my own pair of custom glasses hand made by Banton Frameworks! I've always worn glasses and it's been a dream to design my own since forever. This video covers the manufacturing process as well as the unboxing. I'm already wearing this pair daily! What do you think?

So glad to have worked with you on this project Sam. It's been a pleasure making your bespoke frame, especially knowing you've wanted to do something like this for so long. It's projects like these that define the term 'collaboration' and were delighted with the result. | "Building an eyewear factory beside a loch in Scotland."

Glad to know services like this exist. I found 2 pairs recently that I wanted and I ended up going for one with a better shape but not the color I wanted. Ever since I keep thinking about buying the other ones, but what I really want is this pair with a different color. So I might have to get them custom made.

Hey Sam, glad these frames worked out. They look awesome. And it's good that you found out a quick fix for the bridge/tilt issue. No frame will fit everyone perfectly, so I'd say you did very well :)

Hi Sam, they look amazing! It's exiting for us designers to see the entire design process, I could watch this video everyday. I really appreciate that you show us also your problems in the process. It's really important to me to see that it happens and that doesn't mean it's a fail, it's only another step in the way towards the final design. Currently I'm watching your videos to improve my english listening and at the same time learn about design. Thank you!

Nice job! Ib love how they turned out and I really enjoyed seeing how the glasses were made! I am wondering about that step in the rotating barrel though, not really sure what that was for, do you know?

Hey Sam, I want to upload my portfolio for your review, but I cannot for the life of me get it below 5mb. I've gone down to low image quality with 72dpi, I've tried everything I can only get it down to around 7mb, and at the same time I don't want the quality to be bad. Would you still accept it around 7-8mb?

Interesting to see these frames are cnc cut then formed using heated jigs. Also, do you have a 3D printer?

You should get a 3D printer to prototype and avoid those post production mistakes, there are a lot of brands out there & wide range of them are pretty cheap but still you getting better results than cutting the shape of the glasses with the worst scissors in the world xD Creality ender 3
