Thanks for this. I'm not a coder but now giving it a go. I want to compare a defined value to a 1d20 roll. If the roll is is a Failure. Where is it best for me to get advice on the syntax as it is coming up with an error (though it is recognising the value and the roll)?

They seem to have added in an attribute bar option for the Custom System Builder and I've got zero clue how to get it to work.

Thanks for the vid! Question...How'd you go about setting the exploding dice up? I'm trying to code in criticals to my rolls, but can't seem to find how you did it in the snippet you showed, and the github seems a bit vague in places.

Any idea how you reference a Key belonging to a target? Trying to make a very simple damage calculation that subtracts a targets defense from the user's attack.

Just because I didn't see this, but I am attempting on making a table for my stats, but I was the modifier to automatically go up (Sort of how it works in dndbeyond) every even number after 10. Is there a way to properly code this?

I find it easier to use over Simple WorldBuilding. Try both and see what works best for your needs.

@@johnbyrne4256 Its been a month so you might have learned this already, but recent updates I think have changed how the tabs work. Now when you click the + you can actually add more Tabs/pages for whatever you like. Currently, its the second to last option. (where you would find Label and so on) called Tabbed Panel

I'm having trouble with creating an inventory (foundry noob here). I want to be able to drag items onto my character sheet section "inventory". Anybody got any tips on that? Thanks for the great video by the way. Really helpful!

Don't think Items has been added yet (a future feature), for now have to use dynamic tables and type them in or use drop down boxes.

What are keys. Please define for us non techys

Keys are unique names for the entry. Each key must be unique...and don't use the key "name" for any it causes problem use something like "PC_name"

Shot in the dark here cause I've been looking for awhile and maybe im just blind. I made a sheet for an unsupported system and a friend who also has foundry wants to use it for his game do you know where the data for the created sheets are so i can send it to him or maybe if just sending him a copy of my entire system folder would work?

You can try right clicking on the actor in the sidebar and exporting the character data and send the file to your friend where he can import the actor file on a blank actor and see if that works.

Unlikely I will do a new version as I have not been using Custom System Builder for over a year now preferring to use PDF Page or Freeform Sheets

It's a lot lighter and quicker to set up. Also recommend it for non techies....that and the more alternatives the better choice for users.

You can if you put them inside a panel that is set to be a 2 colomn grid.

Your thumbnail for this video looks like it has a WFRP2 character sheet. I am looking to make a WFRP 1e character sheet. Is this possible with this module?
