Caya, thank you SO MUCH! I use you and the videos you share as my mentorship lessons. You see, I am a founder based in Africa in a country where we don't have any accelerator programs/mentorship programs for startups especially ones in a "disruptive" space like IT. So the struggle is really steep, from failure to find funding opportunities, to a paucity of resources in growing your product. I feel lucky to have a 14years experience behind me, and a chance to have traveled the world a bit. Until finding your channel, only those two were my fall-back options for decision making. But now with this channel, I do my best to check-in often for some startup tips. Thank you! and the entire team that makes this possible.
Can someone help me with what could be a “problem statement “ for a startup that’s venturing into the entertainment sector? A company i work with creates digital characters for the purpose of entertainment. We are having a hard time finding a problem statement. Any help is appreciated Thanks in advance 🙏🙏
So think it like this. Marvel creates superheroes and entertain the world. But if they were to define their problem statement, I’m bot sure what it would be. Consider our business to be like Marvel, and we need to raise funding for it. Been stuck on the problem statement for the deck since sometime now
i finded you on youtube, and i think youtube is the best channel for you, i dont believe so much in google ad tools nowdays especially for this kind of companies, i had a startup and my channel of markting was instagram pages, that bringed to me a cost of around 0,17€ per app download, 500 € budget and 3000 downloads...
How can I calculate the churn if a customer is paying a flat fee for my service and, depending on the service, they could be an active customer for 2+ years?
Dear Friends, I have a question: 1/ in the CLV, the life of a customer is an estimate of the time between a customer's first purchase date and a customer's last purchase date, right?. Thank you.
While google analytics and google optimize are great if your product is mostly a web based client, however doesn't work seamlessly for native apps on Android / IOS.. need to invest in solutions like appsflyer for native apps
Caya, could you also pls make a video on how to calculate customer LTV especially for ecommerce ? Main concern is how to know the customer's forecast on how maby years he would stick and his average spend. Would really appreciate if you could hear and respond to this request as it would help many entrepreneurs from your this great platform. Good luck with bizzzz :)))
Caya, who's responsible for most of this stuff? Is this something that you do as the company CEO or is this usually the job of your CFO, data scientist, or someone else?
Hi! At Slidebean, Caya takes care of that task himself. You can take a look at this video for more: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vz9n-2W33WY.html
My startup hasn't started spending money on marketing yet so we haven't been able to run any tests to see what it costs to acquire customers and yet people are asking me what our CAC is. What should I tell them?
Hi , thank you for these great advices, I want to ask you when should we establish a company legally concerning a hardware product startup, we are 3 cofounder based in France, thanks
Hey Caya, nice video as always. Quick question about CAC and your process in general. My understanding based on this video is that you don't take into account how much the customer actually brings. It is somewhat understandable as it's hard to track this across many months when he/she can upgrade downgrade or order multiple plans. However, I do feel like this can create misleading statistics. For instance, comparing 2 campaigns where one has CAC 100$ vs other has 200$ seems to have a clear winner. But what if the customer in the second campaign brings in 5 times more money compared to first. It is my understanding that you can assign value to GA goals, which could theoretically solve this. But I am curious if this is something you take into account. Cheers!
I am addicted to your content. Most resourceful and meaningful startup content out there. If you are new to the startup world and are reading this comment, drop all courses/tips/tricks/online hacks and watch all of Caya's vids.
Either you didn't test it properly or your measuring the wrong KPIs or you need a new strategy. Almost all business have access to the same channels and clearly they work. Its about how do we use them effectively. Also remember some channels need time to really become effective whilst other become stale if you dont swap out content introduce new campaigns or multi channel
